In the vast expanse of this indifferent multiverse, humanity has learned to take everything this world had to offer as its own, considering it necessary for its survival when it was nothing short of luxury. This sort of terrain is nothing unusual, recurring many times across the Nibiru Airspace, even sometimes being located multiple times within one simple realm, lush green fields spreading for miles, wildlife such as deers and rabbits wandering on and about, mountain peaks surrounded by constant winter clouds and the likes, you get the idea. Thus, what could make this particular scenery special? Was it the cliff, a massive wave of rock creating a natural barrier between the two biomes? Was it the ice-covered tops creating winter clouds due to entering in contact with warm winds coming from the south plains? No, there was truly nothing special to be said about this place outside for one simple fact: This realm had been undiscovered for eons, no civilisation had ever robbed this place of its beauty or ressources, making it special for at least some individuals across the vast universe, although they were scattered far and wide. In this day and age, there were few worlds such as this one left, making it unique in its own not-so-unique way. The rarity of worlds with absolutely no life originally isn’t necessarily rare, yet it seemed like a miracle that no one had ever colinised this place, good thing the british empire isn’t a part of The Nibiru Alliance and never will be. At least the landscape was nothing to laugh at, hills covered in tall grass, a beautiful lake which has water coloured azure, temperatures which seem perfect, if not a little cold when closer to the mountain range. An idyllic environment for most which enjoyed the simple pleasures of life while still being extravagant enough to travel to this destination. Sadly, in the winter, one of the most tantalizing attractions of this place, the river flowing clearly far across the hills scattered around was mostly dried up due to some monumental droughts, also creating some beautiful spectacles in the sky due to colliding wind currents. This was one of the more beautiful realms within the outer perimeter of the territory owned by Nibiru, thankfully governments learn to stay in their own lane this time around and won’t ruin the experience for literally everyone.
Ezekiel sat there, guitar in hand, sitting on a fabric foldable beach chair, simply enjoying the peace of the natural landscape around him. It had been too long since he had gotten a proper break from all of the people on The Judecca, yet every time he took a break, it always ended up in him having to fight someone of importance in the anarchist group, so he preferred not to refer to it as such, he thought of it as temporary leave time after getting slapboxed by demons. No trees as far as he could see, yet the sun slowly fell down beyond the horizon, so there was the feeble-glowing and distant light glowing in the sky from the stars along with the warm colors of the fading celestial body. The tune he played was neither a joyous one nor a sad one, it was in that small grey zone that he preferred not because it didn’t ruin whatever mood he was having but because he found it more relaxing than most other types of music. The young Technomancer sighed, staring up at the sky to see the unpolluted light show above his head, a dream which few people can actually reach. His indifferent facial expression was not necessarily the happiest, he was somewhat tired of fighting the weirdest beings in creation, yet that’s what the contract said and that’s what he needs to do. He imagined how he could’ve turned out under Babel’s flag, if he had stayed under the leadership of his creators, maybe he’d be more tired, yet he knew that life would be much more boring since who would be there to tell jokes in the darkest moments like Arthur or Rio? He chuckled at the mere thought of him staying in Babel, returning his mind on whatever the unreadable Mastermind thought about. There was no hint that could help you tell what he thought about, for he thought about everything and nothing in random order while his digits played a song they had learned to the point where he could do it as effortlessly as he breathed. The pristine sound emanating from his guitar which shone of a prismatic light under the stars seemed to regulate the flow of Nature itself, even the starlight seemed to be directed by the sweet melody he produced, it was almost magical. Within his amethyst irises, a dancing flame was burning, however, it was just as calm as he was, staying controlled as opposed to when his fighting spirit truly burns like a beacon which illuminates his eyes.
“There’s an awful lack of jokes around here..”
Ezekiel sighed as he talked to himself about what he thought about, going through wondering about the position of Lost Jerusalem to space phenomena before taking off somewhere in the fields, guitar in hand. His coat flew behind him, his long silvery locks obtruscting his flawless face, forcing him to constantly replace them correctly. He stood upon a tall flat hill, his left hand resting upon his sword’s hilt as the drones which always followed him around stayed stationary as usual. His gaze quickly scanned through the entire area, detecting no sign of life around even with the extrasensory perception he had developed over his time in BLADE. It had been a long time since he talked to Arcadia, the old man usually disliked engaging in conversations, making for a very one sided relationship, but what did he expect when he became the warden for an entire extraplanar prison carrying a single prisoner, of course they wouldn’t become friends! He imagined where everyone in the crew could possibly be, Arthur was probably fighting some demon monkeys, Nolthanis was probably enjoying a cone of ice cream with Svell or something and Rio was either punching a sandbag with a picture of Savand on it or coming after him for slacking off, hopefully the second option isn’t the correct one. He took a deep breath of the fresh air within the lawless land, who could blame him? He lived all of his life either within a sad laboratory, within a spaceship or in hell fighting demon beetles and giants.
“What a time to be alive.”
