EDEN
âAre you seriously taking that tea with you?â Delta spoke as Eden pressed down the magnetic lock lid. âWell, Duh, I donât want it to go cold!â Eden bit back calmly before silencing herself with a sip of that warm spearmint green tea before continuing to speak this time with a much more severe tone. âDo not forget to ensure your internal communications is connected; it is my goal as your shield to ensure you stay alive.â Delta would bring a single digit to tap against her plump bottom lip with a roll of her eyes. âDo you think of me that idiotic Eden? Did you forget it is not I that took time off for ârelaxationâ whatever you claim that to be?â
Eyes of Sage turned heterochromatic platinum shift to focus upon their chosen destination â IKARUS V, a sprawling metropolis of glass and silver reminiscent of a 20th-century megacity. The image would remain flowing through three-dimensional space as the hologram remained. Turning her head to the left, slightly eyes settled upon the cockpit of their ship LEVIATHAN, which remained in stasis outside of planetary orbit. Turning back to look at Delta, Edenâs entire countenance would shift from casually sarcastic to an intense war-honed focus.
Eden was the pride of Babel, the perfect amalgamation of Biological engineering and cybernetic fabrication. Created to be the vessel of religious prejudice and war, Eden was blessed with a physical, mental, and emotional prowess beyond even most scientific marvels. Intellect and warriorâs instinct met in perfect harmony within the Avernian Empress compounded by the ideal fabrication of her physique and far more capable of feats classified only as miracles. She was Babelâs prized jewel of war, and the blood that dirtied her hands had proven it time and time again. Eden may look like the latest pop idol, but beneath it, she was in the highest echelons of Babel â CIDE VII codenamed BIOCIDE.
âI suggest we take our leave now.â
Shimmering shards of Prismatic luminescence fracture apart from realityâs hardened touch. They were discarded by the aethereal divinity applied by the Empress and her Abyssal companion. Streaks of incandescent aether shaded indigo crawl and crackle against the fringes of broken reality as the immaterial grants the Pop Idol duo traversal to IKARUS V. Their presence was placed upon the cityâs magnificence it was instantaneously felt as still winds were whipped into raging zephyrâs before returning to their stagnation. As briefly violent as their arrival was, so to the closure of the immaterial warp for as it snapped shut, ceasing its existence where it once was remained a deep chasm of eaten material.
âSeems they vacated the city prior. Good.â
Eden quipped before silencing herself with her tea before again as her internal Heads-Up Display fed her sensory data in real-time. Turning her head towards Delta, she spoke. âRemember, I am your shield; you are the weapon.â Before her left hand extended as silken strands of onyx pigmentation began to writhe across her fingertips and evidently across her whole body as the skintight tri-weave nano-fabric LEA armour codename DREAMWAVE awoke. Changing pigmentation to match Edenâs complexation beneath her attire, the LEA awaited its use. Dressed in an attire considered more for casual gatherings than combat Eden was dressed in a black three-quarter off the shoulder top with her midriff revealing her stomach; her lower half was covered in black skinny-leg jeans tucked at the ankle into a charcoal inch and a half-height heeled boot. Coiled about her midsection was a charcoal and pink belt with its clasp as a nacho-eating plusheen in silver and black. Over her shoulders Eden wore a charcoal double breasted military coat with golden adornments and emblazed with CIDE-VII, Babel and ECLIPSE patches. Standing at 5 foot, 5 inches and 65 kilograms, Eden fit the bill for K-pop aesthetic, especially with her pink to silver to white ombre hair.
Its prospective ability remained unknown as the Level 5 classified LEA harmoniously linked with Edenâs psyche. Simultaneously as this was happening Edenâs sensors paired with the hologram of the city used prior would build a live update top-down map of IKARUS-V. which would appear beside her HUDâs layout revealing Aether levels, current noise signatures, heat signatures and her loadout.

Uniquely Eden carried with her no discernable item of war, unless you count a porcelain to-go repeat cup as a weapon of mass destruction. It was characteristic of Eden to carry with her, her infamous weapon OMENERVER, however the spear would not reside within her hands this combat. As such she saw no need to present herself with any weapon or armament visible.
âThey should arrive soon.â
Edenâs voice would permeate through Deltaâs skull as she would activate her internal communications device, head tilting to the side as she watched the world about her with an almost curiosity.
âUntil then, Iâll drink this tea and relax. You do as you need too.â

DELTA
Subtle flickers of a once-pacified annoyance began to flourish within the young lady known as Delta, as she and Eden closed in on their destination; even though the both of them knew what was to come, it appeared only one of them was mindful about the gravity of what potentially awaited them on IKARUS V. Instead of filling the flight deck with an audible dialogue of potential stratagem and safeguards, an ambiance of unimposing beeps and rings which described the LEVIATHANâs usual operations inundated the distance between both girls as if this was but an ordinary day. If only the ship was sentient enough to know just how right it was to âassumeâ that; as individuals, the both of them were often introduced to unknown scenarios⌠most accompanied by an enigma that enshrouded the precipice of life and death up until they were gazing right into its gaping maw. To stare death in the face time and time again was but one responsibility that came with being a part of Babelâs prestigious CIDE VII⌠because to even step foot onto that pedestal meant they had the power to surmount what wouldâve otherwise been a sure descent into deathâs fissure⌠every time.
â â â
Perhaps the apparent lack of communication could be attributed to a profound confidence in their abilities, or maybe itâs a simple consequence of being so acclimated to the burdens that accompanied those who stood amongst the universeâs most eminent. When taking their folkloric strength into consideration, it would be easy to assume their silence is merely due to assurance. However, even among the uniqueness that was Babel, these two were especially eccentric; they were not only agents of Babel⌠they were the sole members of ECLIPSE, and were also âfriendsâ. Needless to say, their impudent personas made for an equally eruptive friendship⌠but that was the beauty of their cohesion; it somehow works, and is surprisingly effective as it is efficient. So, if these two were confident in their abilities, why would Delta be annoyed?...
â â â
âAPPROACHING DESTINATION: IKARUS V. ANTICIPATING ARRIVAL WITHIN 3 MINUTES.â
Quiet no more, the LEVIATHANâs navigation system loudly announced their impending arrival to IKARUS while a hologram of the sphere was etched into what was otherwise an empty terminal hanging above the cockpit. The siren simultaneously animated Delta who was perched upon the guard rail attached to the balcony which overlooked the cockpit; her roseate scrutiny met with the image of IKARUS before shifting onto her cohort, who was immersed in her tea, as a glare.
â â â
âSee Eden? I told you! There was no point in brewing tea because it was just going to waste.â
A few metallic claps echoed the chamber as she slowly stepped towards her cohort, only to stop a few feet to her right. Eden remained enthralled in her tea, and it meant she paid no attention to Delta.
âAre you seriously taking that tea with you??â
Only then did Eden respond, âWell, duh. I donât want it to go cold!â Of course, this would be Edenâs priority, and the absurdity of it all spurred Delta to gaze away from the idler with a mild discontent.
â â â
âDo not forget to ensure your internal communications is connected; it is my goal to ensure you stay alive.â Not only was Eden acting somewhat sluggish, she was also bold⌠Cheeky enough for Delta to tap a delicate finger against her bottom lip and roll her eyes.
âDo you really think of me to be that idiotic, Eden? Did you forget it is not I who took time off for ârelaxationâ⌠whatever you claim that to be?â
â â â
âNAVIGATION COMPLETE. IKARUS V IS NOW WITHIN DOCKING RANGE.â
â â
Once the LEVIATHANâs navigational system announced their arrival, Edenâs entire demeanor changed in a manner that initially impressed Delta; she was finally serious, a fact that was exemplified by her suggestion to immediately leave. Unfortunately, Eden was dead-set on bringing that blasted tea-cup along, since she made a beeline straight for Delta⌠and the next thing Delta knew⌠neither of them were aboard the ship anymore.
â â
Refulgent, shimmering shards of prismatic appearance fractured into a scenery lining the planet; just as reality seemingly folded at the mere touch of Edenâs will, so too did reality fold upon their advent. What was once a tranquil ambiance stirred into an enraged typhoon capable of pilfering every building nearby of their windows, while their glass-like forms shattered into innumerable pieces. The whole ordeal was likely announced by a deafening cacophony. However, as abrupt as their entrance was, the silence following the event was equally as rapid.
â â
âSeems they vacated the city prior. Good.â At least one of them was cognizant of their whereabouts, as the confident testimony came from Eden; she proved she could literally hit the ground running, if she so chose. Delta, on the other hand, was rendered off her feet by Edenâs sudden outburst; the young ladyâs rear met with the sphere the moment they landed.
â â
âHow many times did I state to warn me before doing that??!â
Deltaâs angry tone echoed about what was left of the cityscape, which proved Edenâs observation correctâŚ
â â
âRemember, I am your shield; you are the weapon.â In a typical Eden fashion, she ignored Deltaâs âmelodramaticâ exterior in favor of assuming Delta was just being herself.
â â
âI know, I knowâŚâ
In the midst of her response, she steadily got to her feet. If there were anyone around to peer at the two from afar, it would be easy for them to assume the belles were either persona, since both of them sported pink hair. However, their uniqueness began to materialize as Delta assumed her upright position; like her cohort, Delta too was dressed somewhat casually, at least to an untrained eye. She stood at 5 feet, 4 inches⌠Most prominently, Delta was adorned by a fitted, double-breasted Persian-blue denim dress that reached down to mid-thighs⌠The feature that made it prominent was the fact that it was supposed to be coupled with an outer-blouse, but was not; because of the absence of her blouse, her bosom and arms were revealed to be concealed behind a skin-tight achromatic polyester-like material, and it tightly traced her frame, while a single strap from either side of her body rose to conjoin into a choker at her throat. The same polyester-like material also covered her legs, since it was basically a whole-body-suit.
â â
Once she began to perch to her feet, her hands patted across her petite figure to remove dirt and such.
âYou rope me into your shenanigans, yet you get to drink your tea.â
Subtle claps began to echo about as her boots padded forwardly against the pavement; a rose-colored scrutiny scanned the dilapidated cityscape until Edenâs voice popped in her head. âThey should arrive soon.â
â â
As many times as Eden used her internal communications device on Delta, she still wasnât used to it⌠a fact further symbolized by Delta subtle comb through the rose/gold hair decorating her crown in a ponytail. Even though she may appear largely inexperienced in comparison to Eden, the notion couldnât be any further from the truth, as even Delta was ornamented by powerful artifacts⌠such as the white/transparent flower which sat on the left side of her crown; it was a level 4 classified LEA nicknamed SOPHIE. It, along with a black-jewel adorned ring on her left ring-finger served as the only apparent equipment on the young woman, even though she could summon her full disposal at any point.
â â
âHow about you prepare my Lacryma⌠I may find it useful.â
Deltaâs words echoed into Edenâs head, which meant the internal coms were bidirectional, and a sign they were seemingly prepared for anything.

BATHORYN
As his opponents sat in the vacant metropolis awaiting his grand entrance, Bathoryn found himself with a political issues in Intra Mørke.
âThe Blackened is transmogrifying entire species, civilizations, planets, and you want to participate in a tournament? A weightless tournament!?â
Yvesâ words meant little to the ears of Bathoryn, while it was true his Intra Mørke allied forces were technically the good guys in this twisted tale, the tempter had his own agenda and morality, the Blackened was simply another obstacle. Just a tad bigger.
âAre you worried about me your majesty~? It wonât take long.â
Bathorynâs taunts only made the pink haired king seeth in frustration, much to the dark entityâs amusement. The male rose to his feet, tossing his dark robes over his lithe frame, underneath grabbed in vantablack burlesque lingers with the Black Child pistol holstered on his left hip, a pair of his blades stationed on his lower black, all hidden by his Misty robes that concealed his slender body well, the magma golem heels of staggering potential mounted on his supple feet as stilettos.
Bathorynâs one sided argument with his fellow Intra Mørke board member ended on a sour note as the male had simply turned and walked away from the furious king. Passing through the cold soulless walls of his shadows, he traverses the very alpha reality in the form of a slow strut yet his presence would already start making itself known on the battlefield. With every step he took, the shadows that littered the vacant metropolis would begin spilling his darkness into the world, a vantablack mist thicker than metal spreading like wildfire.
Soon enough, the sky darkened over as the darkness settled in at a moderate place, the setting growing eerie and ominous as sound seemed t halt except the very breathing of his opponents. As if every breeze had halted and a pattern of sounds finally echoed into the modern scene, the sounds of heels clicking on asphalt and an alluring chuckle.
As much as Bathoryn enjoyed a grand entrance, he wouldnât be showing himself yet, that was for his partner would do with the rather affective cover licking after his every move like an automatic defense system, the darkness not as innocent as it seems. Bathoryn remained in the shadows, while he had offensive weaponry on his body, he never actually planned on using them offensively, he was well aware of his role and heâd modify his kit accordingly. The Kollectorâs band tightening around his wrist and his eclipse claw ring filling his robes with itâs Arcadia lordship, beginning to maximize the outfitâs already acute defense systems.
The life of the battlefield seemed to return the second the clack of heels stopped echoing, the foes now being faced with encroaching darkness slowly swallowing up the terrain, even the ground becoming a Misty black asphalt. Bathoryn beckoning in the safety of his shadows at a nearby building, eyes of soulless manipulation peeking at his foes like a Hunter stalking itâs prey with multiple layers of stealth and anti-detection. As if he himself was the darkness and no entity lurking within it. Though he had one more plan to set in motion.
âHi there. Donât fret, I am friend not foe.â
His succulent voice would ring like a bell in his partnerâs head, an invasion heâd have to get used to if he was willing to work perfectly in tandem. The Call of The Tempter was quite the passive advancement and itâd allow the a-famed aegis and glaive perfect mental sync, their thoughts now the others and vice versa. Bathpryn sat back but of course had his defense system in record place, after all, he assumed heâd be a target as glaive would not get far without its shield. A smile creeping onto Bathorynâs soft features.
âLet us end them.....pleasurably~â
ARES KISEKI
âHmm⌠Again it seems. Might as well see how this goes.â He had thought as his exhausted facial expression had blinked slowly as he was in his workshop, it was his turn to arrive. Rising to his feet he had grabbed his beloved gear he hand made himself. Suiting up with great haste he had placed upon his body from torso to toes. A nano weaved mesh bodysuit that left his arms exposed and came up to his neck. The suit was made from a combination of vibranium and a Demons metal He commanded. Jet black in design, featherweight, flexible made to be maneuverable and strong. His arms look normal looking besides that raijin tattoo upon his right shoulder and his black painted hands. His short snow white hair tamed for now. Standing an average 6â4 height with a warrior built body. As a kuroi of the kiseki he was a hunter of demon folk. The suit came down to his feet and exposed his toes and heel.
Taking the clothing he normally wore he put on over it a button down clothed coat that had its arms removed and tailored to his liking, the chosen black stitched patterns of dragons had made the clothed coat look clean. It had been tailored to his liking as it wouldnât get in the way to fit snug on his person just right.. A grey sash tied around his waist to hold it steady and firm. Placing upon his wrists his custom made replicators that housed a variety of his custom weapons, armor, equipment and items. Slipping between his lips a black cylinder that illuminated blue when he had inhaled. When exhaled it had no scent and vaporized instantly after a second of being released. Taking up arms so he didnât have to make them appear. Two of his H.E.A.T grenades tucked in his sash tightly and secured. His Rifle he had named HU-5H which he strpped to his back and his 2 custom made colt revolvers upon each side of his torso.(edited)
Armed to the teeth were said for now, he had stepped through the fabric of shadows of his workshop, only to appear upon the blackened battle field. His demon eyes adapting instantly, he had seen two beings within the middle. Taking his time he scouted the land. Exhaling through his pores To outline him like a second layer of skin/armor. For now it lied dormant to grow a bit by his fuel. Taking in the airwaves for the moment, The battle ahead would be a great catalyst, his name wasnât ares for nothing. Utilizing this brief cover for he didn't know how long it would last. He had made his way towards a five floored construction building with a useful shinpo burst of speed. Still within the cover of the dark he had gone prone with HU-5H drawn out. Lining up the sight with ease, his crimson demon eyes looking through the lense of his scope. Placing his rifle, within the nook of his arm and shoulder.
Suddenly he had heard his supposed partners voice in his head. Allowing this once since he had been paired up. His hunting methods had changed over the years, so it didn't surprise him when the voice came through nor did it waver what he was doing. âGreeting to meet you. Ares kiseki is the name. But pardon me, we must cut the com-chatter for now. I have two in sight. 1500 meters from my location.â He had said mentally his soft sounding voice, yet tired and fed up with life. His black finger had clicked the safety off and already had a vibranium tipped 8.58Ă70mm Lapua Magnum bullet already chambered out of the five round box magazine being ready to fire. He had just begun to squeeze the trigger with a little pressure of his right index finger. Aiming towards the one with the teacup, but keeping an open mind about the other next to her. Not a thought went by of the possible outcomes. Just waiting to see what was going to happen next.
EDEN
Heterochromatic jewels flow across the vacant jungle of cement and glass in apparent languid motions as the magnum opus of Babel continued her studious scanning of the cityscape including the buildings they would reside within. Through connection and consistent war-prowess the duo was in perfect synchronicity as a thin film of cherry aether would caress Deltaâs left eye. Its purpose was to create a perfect mimicry of Edenâs own Heads-up Display revealing in real time the cityâs vacant world and all that reside within it. This city in its entirety now belonged to this visibly dysfunctional duo. Edenâs sensors were finely attuned across all scopes of data and extraordinary in their make and depth of perception, further backed by the embedded quantum processing cores within her cranium. These biocybernetics forged within her being during her creation allowed her (and now Delta) to spot miniscule fluctuations on their pleasant battlefield.
âIf I warned you, you would have bitched about taking some slower method.â Eden backed back in retort muffled through the lid of her to-go cup as she once more took a sip of the warm liquid. As her head tilted slightly both their Heads-up displays would alert themselves to two shifting signatures of heat oncoming and another within the city. The game of cat and mouse had begun and sadly for those approaching they were the prey. âWell would you like a sip?!â Eden continued before extending her cup towards Delta before pulling it back and taking a step to the side to peer into the glass of the building to her right, a shop of urban clothes. âSuch a shame.â Eden spoke loudly.
Internally Eden understood the internal communication of Deltaâs desire without saying anything, but the emotional response was clear. âUnderstood.â Luminous pastel pink aether would summon itself into existence as aethereal cherry blossoms are called to the material plane of existence. Hundreds of these blossoms would coalesce and dance in what looked akin to an all too beautiful Sakura dance before spiraling out to float throughout the city. The rather grandiose and intentional showing from Eden brought forth two key items. Manifesting from within the dance was a singular white gemstone of unique carving between the fingertips of the rose haired Delta and the secondary item was a four foot, six inches tall, three foot, five inches wide tower shield. The vibrant vermillion and gold stood out against the ominous blackened metals of a unique alloy.
INVICTUS SANCTUS, the shield bore a draconic visage roaring towards the heavens, rubied hues peering down upon all. To look upon its visage was to feel as if its ferocious stare was intently focused on you regardless of position. Furthermore, divine ether begins to spew forth from the shield in vibrant crackles of white lightning, their purpose yet unknown. Anchored not to Eden but to Delta the shield did not manifest as attachment to physical body but rather floated in a tight circular fashion about Deltaâs physique without hampering her ability to move at all. The shield was in perfect harmony with the woman and her needs. In contrast from Eden arks of crackling indigo crawl against it all in rampantly decaying manner as a shield forged in perfect duplication to INVICTUS SANCTUS of indigo silver and black manifested. Created not by her own hand but by the Living entity LEA she wore â DREAMWEAVE. Counter to the divine ether that circled Delta, Edenâs own seethed violent Nether.
Finally, regarding the two that resided in a building 1500 north east of Eden in a skyscraper Eden would raise her right hand and tip â yes tip â her cup to them in greeting. Vastly aware of their presence, Eden could only smirk. Since their very first step onto their established playground, they had hoped to cement some form of stealth, of which these two seemed inadequately prepared to do so. Eden was trained in assassination, a grandmaster of the craft. Secondly Eden cared little for the slowly moving penumbra of darkness, if she could sense the being within than perhaps, they should question what they were facing.
âHello there!â
Eden calls out towards the building, regardless of if they heard her or not before returning her attention to Delta as she speaks through their internal communications. âKill them.â Simultaneously to Edenâs speech a soft pastel blue aura would begin to illuminate her. A preparation should they need it as a voltia would begin charging within her ARCUS system. She had no reason to believe this selected voltia would be of use but better safe than sorry.
DELTA
Apparently it didnât take long before the girlsâ dynamic personas were noticed and implanted within the crosshairs of some potentially dangerous individuals; in contrast to their vividly pink characters, a misty penumbra abruptly materialized and besieged the firmament in what appeared to be a rolling cloud of exceptional darkness. Its presence expressed truly ominous intentions, as everything underneath its veil slowly succumbed to a gloomy demeanor; the whole presentation seemed overhasty and excessive, but it very well had the potential to instill fear⌠just not into the pink-haired duet. An act of this magnitude was nothing short of a compliment for them, as it meant whoever was responsible for this likely discerned the pairâs potency for cataclysm just by peering upon their roseately cherry eminence. Of course, Deltaâs lamps leisurely scanned the perimeter for anything she could distinguish as the enemy, and while she couldnât visually locate the person who was to blame for the crepuscular curtain, she could easily see pieces of darkness rising from shadows as they were casted by towering skyscrapers. In short? It was a decent presentation, but nothing she was worried about.
Any questions to be asked concerning the enemyâs whereabouts would be answered the moment a thin, cherry-hued, film-like aether closely manifested upon Deltaâs left eye; its introduction to her rose-pink scrutiny was remarkably subtle in comparison, almost undetectable to even trained eyes, yet the benefits bestowed by its presence were enormous and immediate. For starters, Deltaâs vision, at least in her left orb, was augmented to portray a Heads-Up Display which unearthed a multitude of facets which were otherwise hidden about the cityscape; every building all the way down to each marble responsible for the vacant cityâs pavement, could be perceived with utmost detail, clarity, and urgency⌠all thanks to a graceful unison between the two girls. However, the most prominent accomplishment awarded yet by this link was a simple, yet detailed, illustration of not one, but two individuals who dwelled within darkness and distance. One of them perched about 1500 meters away from them, in an aerial position, while the other was apparently close enough to feel the girlsâ presence while distant enough to feel complacent in his position.
âIf I warned you, you would have bitched about taking some slower method.â Edenâs quip came out of nowhere, and its lively promenade bounced throughout the corners of Deltaâs mind; her characteristically defiant persona remained steadfast, and it likely meant that her sentiments closely mirrored Deltaâs⌠forebodingly unconcerned. Eden even verified the claim by casually offering the glaive some of her wretched tea.
âCertainly not! However, all Iâm going to say is this: the shadow bringer must be aegis, otherwiseâŚâ Delta pondered briefly pondered about her opponentâs choice of role, with a sole finger decorating her bottom lip. âUnderstood.â Delta merely stated an observation to Eden through mental channels, yet the brief exchange was enough for the pop-star to comprehend that behind those words were billowing obelisks of a sanguineous ragnarok yet to come; the time for leisure was at an end. With the advent of luminous pastel-pink aethereal cherry blossoms, an equally pink refulgence was cast out as hundreds of these blossoms danced about the pairâs perimeter; it was a seemingly simple technique which wouldâve been introduced, at least initially, to the enemies as a growing storm of pink blossoms. By virtue of their quick activity, and luminance, the two dames wouldâve been handily obscured within a vortex of flower-like presentation while axioms of their cohesion began to manifest; some would be deadly conspicuous to their opponents, conversely others would largely undetectable⌠such as the delicate assemblage of a white gemstone between the rose-haired belleâs fingers. It was her fabled Lacryma, a product of her own creation which could ensure she was prepared; it was a jewel upon many that were responsible for maintaining the sanctity of her essence, and in more dimensions than just oneâŚ
Ultimately, upon the end of blossomsâ synchronized choreography, their harmonious intimacy seemingly dissolved into a cavalcade of individual blossoms, where each of them was apt to quickly find their place among the darkened cityscape; they were certain to look like stars in their own right⌠They were beacons of light surrounded by a dreary nigrescence, one that may have been perilously oblivious to what the walking calamities were capable of.
Delta, a belle who preferred to exhibit proper class and poise, radiated a sanguineous gaze from her orbs; a twinset of roseated glares pierced the distance beyond her only to nebulously illuminate the target and bathe him in a downpour of her silent ire. The only thing of importance that stood between she and the recusant who stood upon the skyscraper, was the Lacryma that nestled within her fingers; a subtle hoist was all that was necessary to have its petite form stand in his place within her gaze while Eden did her thing.
âKill them.â Was Eden reading her mind? If she wasnât then the comment wouldâve been uncanny, but then again⌠the beats of their hearts were in unison, and Deltaâs response could not have been more augural. Upon the end of Edenâs mental encouragement, cotton candy pink-stained aether began to vehemently collect about Deltaâs palm; the mere attendance of her essence caused the Lacryma to shatter into a shimmering mist localized about her hand, and it was triggered in tandem with a presentation rivaling that of her cohortâs, in both class and appearance. What manifested before her hand was an aethereal rose that slowly rotated clockwise, and it was elegant enough to obscure the top half of her body from sight, be it through shade-cutting luminosity or its size; regardless of its prestige, the male atop of the building could clearly imagine the center of this rose was poised in his direction upon its emergence.
Whereas Edenâs previous display of aether adopted the form of cherry blossoms, Deltaâs adopted the form of a rose whose eminence brought about inspirations within the ambiance, the most conspicuous being the meek advent of vegetation⌠It was as if they rose-up to chant her name, only to bow upon a thunderous release of rose-pink aether; from within the roseâs shimmering petals came a small concentration of Deltaâs potency, and it strove to traverse the distance between she and her target expeditiously. From his perspective, all he would be able to note was the sudden creation of her rose and the abrupt release of energy that traversed to him in the form of a rose pink, translucent bomb that would explode into multiple shimmering fireworks⌠assuming it reached him, his pre-determined location, or was otherwise conjoined with an unstoppable force. However, if the roseâs sheer discharge caused surrounding skyscrapers to topple inwards⌠from a mere shockwave, then one could repercussions of experiencing the actual blast radius would be far more harmful. How could something so destructive, be so beautiful? If one could peer at the projectile a different perspective, then they could bask in the captivating dance of rose petals and stardust left in its wake towards her target. âHm⌠perhaps I should pursue the person playing aegis instead.â
BATHORYN
Bathorynâs amusement peeked as his opponents noticed that fate was upon them and that the tempter was taking this metropolis as his own. One of them, the one that seemed to be sipping tea, would activate an optical sensory through a flashy eye that sparked like a night light in the amasses darkness and crawling blackness. Bathoryn had felt countless battles and countless of them involved someone attempting to vividly locate him in his element, very few succeeded and for the sake of his plans for his partnerâs attack methods, the male didnât plan on allowing either of these women locate him in the slightest as his body was amassed by the abyssal blackness adorning the vacant city.
Lapping up the very frequency of his physicality, he didnât see why need to be that present, he wouldnât need to be to act as aegis. The vibrations of any movements he caused whisked away as his breathing silenced itself and dimensional fluctuation of his existence became one with the thick Misty darkness creeping up in every inch of the city from every possible shadow and angle, every shadow casted swept up and blended, sight being compressed into a nerve wracking blindness of a black hole. Of course, the duet wouldnât be in too much vision trouble yet as the darkness was still on the move at a moderate rate. Bathoryn was no longer within his element, not he had he technically became his element, he was sitting on a interactive blackened plane, hilting the setting with his grasp.
The almost Omni-present whispers of his Call of The Tempter struck every inch of material, atom, and molecule with his influence that would gradually grow over time, gradually but surely bending the very battlefield to his will, not even inanimate objects safe from the enticements of his requests, if he asked a safe to unlock, it would do so, if he told a ground to cave, it shall fall. Oh he took great pleasure in using this very much mild variation of his influence, although softer than his capacity.
Unfortunately, Bathorynâs unrivaled stealth wasnât shared by his partner but the tempter could help, though the beat he could do was preventing a vivid pin point location, leaving the femaleâs with a general location which was nearly just as lethal but heâd make do, after all, he didnât know what his partner had in mind, unless though vividly to be shared through the link he had set up for them, he had smiled softly at his words for a Psionic radio silence, the darkness his partner was in giving the tempter an extremely clear image as if watching a movie from every possible angle, beady amethyst eyes poking out at everyone present.
As his role as aegis, he was obligated to react to the blossoming advancement ready to be launched towards the building his partner sat on. The male shifting his hands as his digits eerily twisted and shifted around like boneless puppet strings. Luckily for his setup, the speedy attack had something to go through before it reached his ally; Bathorynâs darkness.
The countless swarm of petals was quite pretty to Bathoryn though his own element dimmed the light show considerably and the pairâs obstruction from physical view to little to help them from Bathorynâs sensory through his extreme zone control. The shimmering nightlights would be heading for his ally and the whispering darkness would upturn, thickening under Bathorynâs will and clumping together like a solidified wall of blackness as it rose like a tidal wave of the eldritch element stood as tall as 50 feet and spreading out to the length of what looked to be a city block, cautious but effective as should the attack meet the mountainous defensive mechanism, said attack would detonate into its jaw dropping firework show and its glistening stars would soon be swallowed by the wall, the prospect of a lively element like Ăther subjugated to the mass of vantablack essence and nullify the attack in the defense and in a facade of his amusement, the wall wouldnât stop.
As if burrowing towards the pair of vixens in a means to push and crush them to leave them to the fate. Had they been wrong about who was aegis? No, but Bathoryn was interested in how confident they were in that assumption, of course his assumption was based off the assumption that they thought he was aegis when they caught that sliver of his former location. Their first attack drilling towards his partner being considerate evidence, of course the wall, if hit, would be extremely harmless excluding the sheer inability to see whatâs going around the two, but heâd have himself a ball if the two actually stood there and took the hit, he did appear to be aegis after all and said wall had just defended his partner yet at the same time, whoâs to say the attack wasnât disguised as a defense with a purpose of both. Creativity was youthâs blessing. Bathoryn enjoyed toying with opponents and should his ruse fail, heâd have little care, as it was for petty enjoyment in the first place. The duet already standing in a hole of relatively clear around in a resident swirling abyss the metropolis was becoming, so forcing them to move wouldnât achieve much. Or would it?
âDo it.â
Bathorynâs statement was giddy with excitement, speaking through his mental link. This could very much be an acute window for the male to take his shot as of course with Bathorynâs blessing and his own adeptness, Ares would have no trouble vividly aiming through any of the blackened foliage before him, perched comfortably atop the building that was currently being fortified by a mass of shadows and darkness.

ARES
Keeping his eye on the prize as he heard his partner say a few words. Though he did notice the petals flowing around. Being pushed around by the air waves but he didn't mind it so far. Her partner had stepped in and begun doing some flashy arts but instead of the cherry blossoms it had been roses. As it was, he didn't plan on staying in this building. His eye seeing the motion of the one with the tea cup, Without hesitation he had pulled the trigger with the following swift pull of the slide and pulling the trigger again was a half a second apart from the first having the case fly out to his right. As it stood he had accelerated the bullets with his power over electricity and coated it in his own energy as a shell among other things ares had planned.
A standard Rifle bullet would travel 940Fps but his bullet was pushed by acceleration to not succumb to bullet drop as seeing as they were 1500 meters from him. Something the human military snipers have trouble with from that distance. The bullet traveled 5 times faster than 940fps which would make it 8272 fps (5640 Mph) aiming for the tea holder's center mass. Being as HU-5H had a built in suppressor coupled with the cover of his partner's darkness. He saw her in true light from beyond the dark, she was his mark, and his rifle had made no sound upon fire.
Battle fueling him a bit more..enhancing his being further. But what did it mean? He had grown stronger as it progressed. His body becoming stronger, more resilient, his senses becoming sharper. His energy became more dense. Everything about him became more. His True kiseki particles lay dormant till they obtained the command from their creator. Keeping in mind there were two opponents his aim was the shield. Being ready to move if he had confirmed the either hit or miss on his mark.
EDEN
It was all to plan, such easy manifestation of destiny at the hands of the two idols of Eclipse. It was not to say that their opponents werenât of decent ilk but rather they were woefully underestimating the duo of women in a manner not quite so obvious. The first occurrence was the belief that because something was âventablackâ would be enough to degrade the duoâs ability to see or notice their intentions and desired outcomes. One does not need âlightâ to see, and it was in this paramount effect that Eden was superior. For reasons stated earlier Eden was able to digitally trace their heat and living signatures as well as the very aether or magical signature otherwise clearly spread throughout the cityscape by her opponents. Following on from this means her HUD paired with the savant levels of hypothetical and simulations ran to the thousands simultaneously meant that no-matter what Eden had their number.
Now, as it was hinted prior that darkness as an element was not a comparable element to insight fear to the Avernian Empress. How could it, she had seen the darkness between living and dead realms, the after shadows of gods and the tree of Yggdrasilâs destruction. She had stood in the face of the chaos gods of the immaterial of universes far exceeding the known omniverse. The darkness presented here was nothing comparable and it would show. As the darkness consumed the hundreds of blossoms upon contact thousands of petals would scatter wide having spent time charging through the ambient world aether and something far more devious.
The trap had been set from the beginning, laid out like a finely crafted display of beauty. With INVICTUS SANCTUMâs original summon the very blossoms that coated from it were drenched in divine aether, a purity and paramount destructive force of the primordial darkness. Silently as the darkness attempted to blockade their light they would siphon; they would feast and most importantly they would burn away. Having spent the time to convert Bathorynâs primordial darkness into roaring divinity aether as a self-sufficient engine of destruction two things would become apparent to the opposing duo.
The first is that each of those petals, thousands of which would form a latticework of hexagonal divine aether. Each platelet interlocked and the seething divine flames of the vermillion draco-emperor would burn any impurity and glow with such fervor that even darkness had nothing but to obey. The second is that any darkness or disgraced element would be held back in a rapidly forward moving burn. The Sakura leaves were an aesthetic choice for a far more devious ploy that had been selected from Edenâs kit from the very beginning. This effect was to do one simple task remove the plight of the darkness. It would no-longer find itself consuming the battlefield in any considerate means. Spread of each petal and cluster of those hundreds of flowers measured the city block and beyond, upwards of one hundred feet in height.
Secondly was the focus of the bullets. For as fast as it was as it passed through darkness and through interlocking plates as they begun their manifestation Eden cared not for them. Rather she shrugged as both bullets would find themselves absorbed â stripped of their boosts after passing through the divine wall â by her Nether shield that upon the trace of the heat signature moved in real time to present itself in front of both bullets taking the hit effortlessly. Barely was there a concussive crack as they collided, rather her LEA broke down these now simple bullets to their core material and used them as fuel.
Without even shifting from her spot, Eden rose her teacup to her lips and took a sip. That aura, now visible to all due to the burning hexagonal panels of divinity was glowing oh so vibrant. Whatever Voltia she was charging had not stopped this entire time. Eyes shifting towards Delta before their intercoms âIt will let stuff out but not in.â
Sipping her tea, Eden cracked her neck slightly as her attention focused to the duo. The constant feed of her HUD and sensors allowing herself and Delta to have a current track. Like two bloodhounds the duo were unphased and would hunt until necessary to snap their jaws shut around their throat.
DELTA
here exists beauty in all things, even if the âshadow bringerâ was doggedly trying to disprove this; his attempt at sparing his partner of Deltaâs roseate assault was to simply consume it within the gloaming depths of his shadows. It was an expected maneuver, but no one could blame them for trying that; likely anyone wouldâve acted in the same manner if they possessed the same advantages as this aegis person. However, to do something like this against Deltaâs assault could be portrayed as being short sighted; if it was expected for him to âconsumeâ her technique with his prevalent darkness, then by no means is she dense enough for that to serve as her only offense.
Had Delta been truly concerned about the growing caliginosity, she probably wouldâve interrupted it on her own; instead, all her opponent managed to do was successfully incite his dark wallâs penetration by consuming her attack â even though she was bold enough to display to the both of them⌠that her energy was supplemented with a unique additive neither of them understood, yet it was absorbed anyway. If she *really* wanted to have this boyâs head served to her on a platter, then this figure wouldâve personally handed her the guillotine to do it, all the while the bladeâs grim shadow perched firmly on his neck; it was ludicrous, but perhaps he had his reasonings. That being said, Delta fully intended for her assault to transpire over multiple stages, and now she likely possessed the means to attack both of them directly through the conduits known as darkness â but whereâs the beauty in that?
They should count themselves lucky as her cohortâs display of power managed to separate the two teams whilst darkness was both burned and consumed by what were originally âpetals in the wind.â Perhaps they shouldâve been focusing their efforts on stopping what was to become a divine purification of darkness, amongst other things. The luminance offered by Edenâs ceremony was seemingly intent upon leveling the playing field, but their radiance beamed with a pink beauty â and it only intensified as darkness, and artillery, were reduced or rendered useless. While the glowing radiance was indeed vivid, the real beauty began to manifest upon their cohesionâs exposure. Delta was initially intending to follow up her shimmering âfireworksâ with another small display of power, which wouldâve led to an even greater explosion since the âstardustâ in its trail wouldâve conducted her output and magnified it, albeit locally, in attempts to greater harm the gunslinger â no hard feelings, he was just closer.
It wouldâve been foolish to believe darknessâ coat was enough to prevent a follow-up, as her energy alone could affect the atmosphere and the ambiance â noted by the blossoming flowers in what used to be dead concrete. Granted, that was the whole purpose of Deltaâs display â they wouldnât have been privy to something like this, anyway; they needed not worry, because they were about to become well acquainted with Deltaâs sanguineous intentions. A far more potent avenue of assault manifested as soon as Edenâs divine ether, and the rest of her defense, began their *burning* purification of the ambiance within waves. Needless to say, the potency of its flames was an even better catalyst than what Delta was intending to use; needless to say, both the latticework and the path of Deltaâs prior attack were connected, and nearby one-another.
Upon the advent of flames of purification, flames of rose-pink sanguinity sparked from Deltaâs lingering essence â the âshimmeringâ and âstardustâ with just as much potency as Edenâs defensive mechanisms â it was what fed Deltaâs flames, after all. However, to merely describe it as a flame was erroneous â the explosion emerged from seemingly nothing and expanded from where darkness swallowed Deltaâs earlier assault; this means it wouldâve originated extremely close to the gunner, and wouldâve ignited with no prior warning. Since Edenâs defense was its catalyst, the rose eruption was primed to consume the city block within waves, and with the appearance of a nigh-instantaneous eruption⌠meaning the shadow bringer wouldâve only been awarded marginally more time in comparison: a couple seconds at best; for the gunner, this eruption may have well been a direct hit, as he was far closer to the epicenter.
Either way, the characteristics of this explosion were teeming with Deltaâs influence. Everything ranging from the explosionâs rose-pink exterior to its grotesquely high temperatures were all just a small piece of Deltaâs potency, and she literally did nothing. The entire city wouldâve been reduced to ashes and rubble, save for what existed behind Edenâs shield. Whatâs more is that this eruption was not only bathed in divine ether, but it also served as a catalyst to something perhaps even deadlier; in the wake of Deltaâs earlier assault were aethereal rose petals, much like Edenâs but also distinct. The presence of *the first* explosion triggered each petal to absorb small amounts of this energy and explosively multiply within the eruptionâs frame.
This meant that not only were they subjected to a massive explosion, with temperatures and force capable of both melting and basically disintegrating a city-block into ruins, but also were introduced with countless roseate petals dancing within the wind; as each were energized by the eruption, they were to inundate what remained with their presence, and casually, yet callously, carve through anything caught within this storm of pink. If any of them were standing from this assault, they could look forward to many more. Finally putting her hand down from firing her prior attack, the young woman began to stretch within likely the only island within a sea of deadly pink: be it fire or petals. âPerhaps your tea is the most interesting thing here, now.â
If the opponents thought their agony was to end here, they were *dead* wrong; she hadnât even begun her *conscious* assault â this was all a calculated by-product of their cohesion. With a simple maneuver of her hands and a simple mental command, a great-bow manifested within her nieves; charging within its string was the beginning of a planet ending assault, as lines of pink, heat, etc. began to collect and form an arrow with the appearance of a viscous vortex. If the opponents managed to survive everything earlier, they would be able to see how the atmosphere appeared to quiver under the âinvisibleâ miasma of what looked like heat; either way, they should know by now that Delta was surprisingly efficient. This visual disturbance which looked like heatwaves, likely was a product of how Deltaâs energy naturally excites the environment; she could literally fire that arrow anywhere, and it would spell the end⌠assuming all this happened.

EDEN
âAre you seriously taking that tea with you?â Delta spoke as Eden pressed down the magnetic lock lid. âWell, Duh, I donât want it to go cold!â Eden bit back calmly before silencing herself with a sip of that warm spearmint green tea before continuing to speak this time with a much more severe tone. âDo not forget to ensure your internal communications is connected; it is my goal as your shield to ensure you stay alive.â Delta would bring a single digit to tap against her plump bottom lip with a roll of her eyes. âDo you think of me that idiotic Eden?

VERDICT: VICTORY FOR EDEN AND DELTA
