Arms Information
Weapons
Name: Cataclysm
Type: Short sword (Wedge-style)
Position: Unknown
Description: A four-foot 'wedge' style sword. The Cataclysm has two extended 'braces' on the face of the gleaming silver blade, and the hilt is a 'block' of mysterious metallic material. The handle, 'guard-block', and the extended bracers are crimson in color. This blade is Ishida's primary weapon, and has been the only piece of equipment capable of withstanding the full extent of his full range of power. As such, this means that it is impervious to all types of meta-physical forces, on top of being physically indestructible. Its blade is incapable of dulling, and no-one really knows where it came from. It just sort of appeared one day, randomly, in his hand. Despite its impervious nature, the Cataclysm is easily manipulated by Ishida's own abilities, hinting at the weapon being a creation of his own hand. He’s been observed making it longer, shorter, wider, heavier or lighter.
Armor
Name: Animus ARM
Type: Prosthetic
Position: Both arms
Description: Replacing his fleshy arms are two perfectly proportioned metallic prostheses, albeit they are still quite enormous by comparison. They are obsidian in color, with two thrumming spheres of varying light housed in the sockets of the shoulders, liken to actuators but much more than that. The signature spiral-patterned scar on Ishida's wrists have resurfaced, naturally, in their rightful place.
Background: After an emotional clash with Killiak that resulted in the General destroying Ishida's arms, surgery was initiated to affix these beauties onto the demon. They are composed of the purest Zeranium, making them both indestructible and extremely lethal weapons in their own right. The spheres in the shoulders generate the perpetual force known as Zeranz Essence, acting as a supplemental design trait that strengthens the arms appropriately in order to withstand Ishida's enormous strength. Due to their maker, the arms are constructed in such a way that they move with an exact likeness to normal, living arms. The expertise in their design is so perfected in fact that they are capable of handling Ishida's natural ether, as well as the use of his Demon's Blood Particles. They are the first external application of Killiak's efforts to adapt the Zeranium element for organic bonding.
Effects (Condensed version): Physical/Metaphysical immunity (Indestructible).
Name: Hell Blazers
Type: Armored boot
Position: Both feet
Description: A pair of red boots featuring a contoured plate over the top, extending from the toe.
Background: They’re a pair of boots. He’s had ‘em, he sometimes wears them.
Effects: Indestructible, SpeedDN++++, WeightUP+++++
Accessories
Name: None
Type: Forehead-Protector
Position: Forehead
Description: A feather-light guard that is supremely resistant to piercing/blunt/slashing damage, and keeps the sweat out of Ishida's eyes. At its center, the word 'Rage' is carved into it, done so by Ishida's claws.
Name: Smokes
Type: Drug
Position: Pockets
Description: Ishida always has a pack of Marlboro Reds on his person, and is rumored to be able to use them as a deadly weapon by manipulating the smoke. Occasionally, he carries a 'Magnum Cigar'. He takes the term 'second-hand-smoke kills' to an entirely new level.
Combat Information
Melee Skills
Insanity Drive: A culmination of several fighting moves Ishida created to suit is own 'reckless nature'. Mostly consisting of random attacks focused on overwhelming the opponent with strong attacks that use any part of his body, there are only a handful of techniques which show up frequently. For example, Ishida favors the use of a technique capable of breaking down the defenses of his enemy(ies), skillfully applying the full brunt of his attacks upon whatever he strikes. Nevertheless, his randomness is the focal point of his style, making for an ultimately unpredictable fighter.
Frenetic Blade Blitz: Never one to actually study swordsmanship of any kind, Ishida's use of the Cataclysm is entirely self-taught and is fueled solely by his staggering experience with Combat. Using his own power to execute ranged attacks, aerial attacks, and chain attacks, Ishida again focuses on overwhelming his enemies with a constant drive of power, speed and unpredictability. As such, there are no officially named attacks, any 'technique' he uses being either habitual or thought up on the spot. Also, this means his sword-play isn't complex by any means.
Ultimate Demon Strength: Over the course of his existence, Ishida has continued to grow stronger through training and combat alike, as well as inheritance through absorbing other demons. Through the use of his Gravija, he has been able to increase his every attribute, making him ungodly fast, but most importantly his physical strength is much higher than any ordinary demon, or machine for that matter. Capable of lifting several thousand tons with the utmost of ease, every attack from the being is a heavy hitting killing blow to most objects and individuals.
Ether-based skills
Reaver's Cord: A blood-line ability of the worst kind. Ishida learned this during his days as Killiak's partner, which at the time made him an unmistakably frightening opponent. Concentrated 'Anti-Matter' in the form of extremely thin cord-wire (liken to Razor-wire), perfectly cylindrical, extends from his fingertips to any given length he desires. Through the years (Centuries on end, rather), Ishida's use of this extremely lethal technique has seen more and more ease, rendering less and less stress to the point he can now use it for hours on end before exhausting himself. Naturally, this anti-matter cord destroys all physical matter without fail. One more development he's come up with would be the ability to tie 'Anti-Ether' properties to it. An advanced skill he calls the "Ripper Syndrome", the anti-ether properties are generated from his enormous understanding of ethereal forces applied through a mass amalgam of negatives that are burst-activated, meaning once the cords contact ethereal defenses (or ether in general which it comes into contact with), the cords forcefully eat through in the same way as they would an opponent's armor.
Chaos Generator: Not so much a skill as it is a passive trait, Ishida's inner chi feeds off the untold number of entities he's absorbed, further enhanced through higher qualities, making his reservoir virtually limitless. Doing so without any repercussion of destroying the souls within him (as they are permanently imprisoned), the only drawback is that he is constantly tapping into these reservoirs, making his 'status' truly unstable. The primary benefit comes as having no need for the Super Demon to use his own ethereal strength for more than half his life.
Spontaneous Frailty: Despite the frightening amount of raw force Ishida is capable of through both ethereal and physical means, the Super Demon is wholly incapable of implementing the use of ether identified as Magic. Magic, a source of power that varies in its schools, is typically ether that spawns from mystical means. Enchantments, ritualistic channeling as well as summoning and scripture, if Ishida does not harbor the power or the control of the ether within himself, he is thereby forbidden of it. Likewise, it appears to be the most effective means of damaging the beast. Of important note however is that Ishida is an extremely powerful being—it’ll take much more than a mere fireball spell to bring him down, making this weakness almost a moot point unless faced with an equally skilled caster of comparable power.
Gravija: Not your usual, run of the mill ‘Element’, Gravija is unique nearly explicitly to Ishida himself, even amongst his deceased family. This power, if it were simply described, is the power to alter the properties of space to whatever parameters the user sees fit. It exists as a particle of ether not affiliated to any other, complete with its own make up and effect on space (and in rare cases time itself). Ishida uses Gravija to increase the gravitational effect of his environment, or lighten it, to whatever degree he chooses, as well as to control what moves where, how fast, slow, or how many times. Thus far, the only effective countermeasure known is energy spawned of the Void itself. On many occasions, Ishida has been known to induce such tremendous effects on a planet to cause it to collapse into itself, leaving nothing behind.
In other cases, Ishida has utilized his complete mastery over altering the effects of physics to induce normally fatal conditions unto a localized area for the means of training. Such training has increased his every parameter to the point of overwhelming absurdity.
Blood Skills
Crimson Eye: For as long as anyone can remember, Ishida's always talked about 'seeing the world through foreign eyes', a unique and strange view that seems to give him an upper hand in just about any situation. Though there is no way for anyone to know when Ishida is or isn't using this ability, its advantages are enormous. When activated, Ishida's perception of the world is locked to a dull array of gray shades (practically all color is removed/changed to a set pattern he recognizes). These patterns are specially tuned for high speed movement, concealment, and gauging all surface aspects of the world around him. This highly practiced vision prevents Ishida from missing just about any detail of the world around him, and his powerful mind is easily able to process massive volumes of information in as little time as possible, giving the illusion of 'precognitive' ability. Naturally, the effects of illusionary abilities, actions, or skills are rendered useless against this.
Blood Eye: One of Ishida's most powerful support abilities, the Blood Eye is a lot more recognizable than the Crimson Eye. Ishida takes off his forehead protector to reveal a closed 'Third Eye', which opens almost instantly once freed. Completely red with a small, pen-point pupil of solid black, the sight of this eye often stirs uneasiness in opponents. This eye allows Ishida to read his opponent's like an open book. From watching how their body is about to move before it actually moves, to the nature of a given energy attack that's speeding his way, to how someone is breathing, nothing escapes this eye. Actively recording the actions of those Ishida is faced against, this eye serves multiple purposes. By force-feeding information directly to his brain, the opening of the Blood Eye results in a much faster reaction time for the Super Demon. Not limited to reading people, it also reveals to him the inner bits of information about the environment around him, allowing him to use any environment to his advantage as if he created it himself. This eye stems from Ishida's inner soul and cannot be tampered with even by the likes of Killiak himself--who definitely tried many times.
Hungering Feast: Rarely, if ever, witnessed by another being, Ishida’s ultimate ability is that to consume the spirit of his prey. The markings on his wrists hold critical importance in the execution of this fatal ability, and the prey is required to be of demonic heritage in order for it to work. Once a soul is consumed, all of its ethereal power, as well as its physical abilities become useable by Ishida at a level far greater than the original’s. Finally, this ability can only be used after a mortal strike has been landed upon the target.
Important Characteristics
Super-Demon: As it turns out not a lot of people actually know what a “Super Demon” is. Where normal demons, even those highly ranked and possessed of tremendous power, are often if not always susceptible to the element of Light in all its forms (Holy, Divine, Judgment, etc), this simply is not true of actual Super Demons. Transcending the limitations of their lower kin, Super Demons are immune to the effects of Light in all its forms and incapable of being banished or purified. They represent the pinnacle of their True Calling, of their race as a whole. This immunity extends to those powers supplied by divine beings known as Gods. For example, if a deity grants a “chosen one” the use of “Divine Fire”, even if it were in the form of magic the effectiveness of the spell would be negated.
True Calling: Currently unknown, as Ishida has never made mention of it. If one were to base it on his known background, particularly his family, he was well known for taking down rival families. Singling out their top fighter, he would crush the family from the top and “recruit” those he left alive. Considering there were always at least one survivor, it is clear that some greater purpose was at hand.
Background
Biography: Formerly Shin-Ra Inc., formerly U-TIC, formerly Yggdrasil Crew Space Pirates, formerly a free Mercenary and now he’s back to U-TIC. Ishida has been around for a decidedly long time, always appearing as either a friend or foe to certain groups throughout history as it pertains to the Yggdrasil Crew. After being captured on Vestusio III and experimented on by the General of U-TIC, Killiak, Ishida has reappeared once more as what’s referred to as an “Agent”. He was once Killiak’s partner in the days Shin-Ra ruled, and is now his greatest Agent.
Appearance: As a result of recent events, the monster known as Ishida Sol visually looks nothing like what any records depict, with only but a few exceptions. Once again his hair is a waist-length, wild mane of brown spiky locks. The details of his face, from bone construction to the contours of his flesh have entirely changed, taking on a decidedly more youthful state. The charcoal complexion of his skin has returned to a deeply bronzed, leathery texture drawn tight over exceptionally refined muscles. Holding a physique that is quite impressive by both human and demon standards, his body hosts unfathomable strength without the need for being excessively large.
The most notable difference is the Zeranium arms that have replaced his normal arms. Forged by the sole entity capable of handling the material, they were engineered to the nearest specification proportional to Ishida's physical constitution. Given the Super Demon's incalculable power, the need for a supplemental design trait was realized in the form of two large spheres housed in the shoulders. Said orbs generate, even while dormant, the necessary amount of Zeranz Essence required to strengthen the arms as needed. In other words, the arms are self-sufficient, self-repairing, and indestructible as they are composed of only the purest grade of Zeranium. Immune to metaphysical forces and capable of withstanding Ishida's planet-crushing strength, they amplify not only his visual presence but also his combat capability to unprecedented heights. They bear an obsidian color, and seem to move as easily as a normal, fleshy appendage. Segmented lines of vibrant red are scattered all around the arms, with none of them being perfectly straight.
For form and function's sake, Ishida still wears his crimson and metallic headband with the word 'Rage' etched into the center. He also has finally decided to wear normal clothes: a black and red vest over his upper torso, very worn in white jeans and his armored Hell Blazers.
Personality: Saying that Ishida is 'at peace' with himself would be an unforgivable insult; however, there is a marked change in his demeanor as a whole. Make no mistake, his mind is still extremely chaotic given his experiences, but after a multitude of lifetimes-worth of development he is finally in complete control. By nature he exudes utter bloodlust, but no longer is a victim of frequent psychotic episodes. That being said, he is still a “crazy psychopath”.
History: -Coming Later-
Other Information: If there is one word to describe this Super Demon, it would be 'Hatred'. Considered to be the very embodiment of it, and in more ways than one he is, Ishida has lived most of his life fighting back and forth with this troublesome emotion. From his young days as a teenage wildcat, to his middle aged adventures as a Bloodthirsty Super Demon, he has gone back and forth with his inner nightmares. While there were but few instances where Ishida lost control of his true self, it hasn't been until now that he 'gave up'. Though, to say he gave up wouldn't be quite accurate. Rather, Ishida realized through the gruesome trials set upon him by Killiak, his once valued partner from days long since passed, that he had no reason to fight who he truly is. Questioning what logic was fueling his desire to contain his own beast, the answer was undeniably in favor of embracing everything that he is. Upon doing so, his captor was rewarded with exactly what he was looking for--a true Monster, a killing machine unlike any other before him that still had an intelligent conscience. Bearing the complex mind of a seasoned fighter and killer that harbored a blood-lust that would suffocate even the 'Lord of Hell' with utter fear; that is what Ishida has become, plain and simple.
Following his brief appearance on Vestusio III, Ishida willingly disavowed his armor, exactly as planned by its creator. Choosing to remove the armor has lifted the illusion over his identity in every manner of speaking. A fairly accurate description would be to say that he has at long last come 'full-circle' with himself, reassuming his heritage. Previously known as a bat-shit crazy warmonger, Ishida now represents the epitome of a demonic hunter with the entire Omniverse his hunting grounds.
Bloodline History: Within the world which Ishida’s origins lie, he is of a clan that had been completely shunned from all society. Even by demon standards, the Sol Family were heathens that knew no bounds or limits. Capable of absorbing the spiritual essence of other demons by drinking or otherwise assimilating their life blood, the Sol’s would ravage their own lands, seeking out the strongest of demons to acquire their skills. With one drop of blood, Ishida has the unique ability amongst his family to analyze the source, rendering their every skill, power, ability and attack completely useless purely through intimate knowledge. A natural in the field of combat, Ishida has slain countless demons, to include his own family albeit in a fit of untamed fury. No one (living) knows the true number of demons he has actually assimilated into his own being, but there is rumored to be an overall limit to the nature of demon suitable for absorption. Therefore, just because he is the sole demon responsible for the slaughtering of entire worlds doesn’t exactly mean he has consumed the same number.
What’s more, the physical aspects of the Sol family’s bloodline ability to absorb other demons grant them the use of Demon’s Blood-Particles. When desired, Ishida can release these particles as deadly reagents, poisons that eat away flesh and even durable materials depending on the rank of the demon’s blood utilized. Most often, this is what Ishida calls upon when using his cigarettes as a means of attack.
