“MY FATE IS NOT YOURS TO DETERMINE! NEVER AGAIN WILL WE SUBMIT!”
“You're wrong!” Bishanoten reels in defiance.
The wasteland filled with black water thicker than syrup gyrated around the twister of terror that cut a swathe through the world when it made its way towards Bishanoten. Distracted not only by the arrow of Kiyoko that had managed to pierce his flesh, the birth of something that existed beyond the bounds in that of Akuma's approach, having to fend of Ouza and clever ploy, and something dangerous approaching from afar, this seemed to be what made Hanyusha so fearsome. Apart, they were as powerful as the strongest of shinobi across the land, but together, they rivaled even the legends of armies that transcended truth into fiction. Driven to a light, whether it be the fire of their demise, or the salvation that would see their fearless leaders ambitions actualized, no one knew for sure.
Not even Kaede Yamagata himself.
Yet as the harpoon of an arrow sunk itself into his flesh and anchored him from shifting his position outside of the hurricane - the situation soured even further. Rin's blade would strike in a brief moment of struggle against the arrow itself, and all according to her whims, she subjected him to the horrors of the Great Dragon Task.
“MY FATE IS NOT YOURS TO DETERMINE! NEVER AGAIN WILL WE SUBMIT!”
“I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!” his hollowed voice spat in arrogant disgust.
Yet when the culmination of their attacks came to fruition, a muddled body sapped of it's strength, yet slowly regeneration, would lay in the swamp with Rin's blade and Kiyoko's arrow stuck in him. While his eyes appeared to be devoid of life, the flesh that had been torn asunder to the bone yet once again slowly began to regenerate in the swamp's vestiges. The only thing stopping him? The trace of lightning running from Rin's weapon due to her Lightning Armor into his body.
“None of you can ever kill me...you pitiful f-...”
The few teeth remaining, charred, sank into his flesh before he could construct his insult. Two immense pressures approached from different locations, one from a few feet infront of Rin and another from far away...yet both were filled with destruction, hatred, malice, animosity, darkness.
I see...so this is why...for the harbinger of god to become judged by mortals...this was your doing all along...or is it truly that this world is changing...
Bishanoten fell silent as Oni descended upon him, and while in a state of trance Oni was likely to deliver the final blow, someone else had finally made their way to the stage in an albeit quiet fashion.
Dragging the body of the charred Vartes, The Kitakokou approached silently, watching as a conclusion was brought to pass with a look of almost mad contemplation.

[Deep within his own mind...] Unlike the chaos ensuring outside, in his mind there was a supreme calm. Darkness. A younger version of himself confined to a single cell. It had a concrete floor that was damp with some unknown fluid, a puddle of it gathered in the furthest, darkest cornter. The bars were of a rusted metal and a single, faintly radiating bulb hung just out of reach over his head, while he sat with his back to the wall. Beyond the bars were darkness. No corridor, no details, no features no visible constructs save for the massive oculars staring from the void, into the cell, and it's obsidian fingers vicing the bars. This entity had a dark, gravely voice, and spoke with two other voices just a tad higher in the octaves then the primary, but they were masculine examples of the bass and tenor ranges. "You've given us all but this, this piece of you, locked away here.......why feed us everything except this?"The dismal version of himself represented a strong part of Akuma. A Part of him that was sacred, that he held dear and closest to him and always kept out of reach and harms way where it could never ever be tained or mistreated or lost so some frivolous cause. His discipline. His teachings and schoolings and lessons in combat, conditioning, killing and warfare. This power he had beyond him. Beyond anything he had ever seen, sampled or felt. It exceeded even the myths and legends of those greats he grew up hearing about, never in a million years did he think he'd have anything even close to it. More so then anything he mourned over what he had threw away simply to test his own resolve, and see his limitations. "So when the Enemy is gone, and my bodies burned out, my mind isn't at a total loss, they'll be something left over." The creature chuckled, dragging it's claws over the, bar to bar, while taunting "Tire??? Burn out??? This power surging through you now...is infinite!! It will NEVER CEASE!!! OBSERVE!!!"[Outside]..... Akuma's entire body, ensconced in some outstanding amalgamation of hardened, yet dynamic and brilliantly intense chakra, coiled. He could restrain no longer the instinctual programming of his last intent, especially at the behest of a fast weakening opponent who even in his previous prime, had questionable odds at surviving an offense of this magnitude. Akuma's yell was an indication of several things depending on who it was, bearing witness to the bestial out lash that would send kinetic waves in every direction with an intense akin to a small, islolated MOAB's blast radius. His right first was held out before him, and those truth seeker orbs both took on a shape of a clawed appendage, all the while being funneled an utterly gargantuan amount of Chakra, the likes of which gives life, shape and prominence to the weapon manifesting just scan inches around his palm, mirroring the gestures of his hands, even the faintest bend of the finger. Through that armored helm eyes lock on, legs coiled, and-----(7) BOOM!!!!!!He was gone. From where he stood? Nothing, an intangible after image in his wake, his transition would be barely captured by the naked eye if not for the explosions against the ground where his feet make contact with a machine guns rapidity, his body to suddenly become "SEEN" again at the moment of death's deliverance--and (8)5 utterly Lethal and HUGE Lacerations would fountain blood, where prior to him disappearing and seemingly teleporting there---were once not. The Death Blow......had been dealt, and the beast now devoid of a target of focus was set loose to freely engage whatever, or whoever. (6)Had they traded one foe for another? 1Byakugan - Low-Level Usage (Strain: High/ Pain: Severe [Injury caused lapse in concentration and slip on control of Tenseigan)
2SHUKUCHI - Reduced Earth Technique. A Mobility technique developed by Akuma which makes use of his inexplicably powerful legs. While "Shukuchi" also translates in japanese as "Teleportation", this isn't that. Instead it's a technique that allows the user to reach their running top-speed----Instantaneously, and without build up. A top speed that defies the norm and borders on inhuman as it can barely be traced by the eye.
3Divine Heavenly Rotation (Bladed) (GREATLY Augmented)--In Conjunction with the event used by Rin, a large portion of her attack would be enveloped and chaped by his spin, creating a cyclone of Chakra, Wind, Fire. ONLY 4 of the 10 bladed projectiles issued could be directed toward opposition. Resulting Shockwave after is from the dispelling of the rotation breaking down the cyclone and sending it in all directions as a forceful-wave.
4Unintended Use of Tenseigan (Chakra output increased greatly)
5 - Forced Used of Tensaigan (Tensaigan [Ascension])
6 - Unknown, Unpracticed, Unnamed use of Yang Chakra in the form of a potential energy attack or projectile ( 1 turn prep)
7 - Shin-Shukuchi - In his current state, Akuma is MINUS his actual gifts and techinques bestowed to him upon training, resorting in his body utilizing many of the techniques committed to muscle memory, Like Shukuchi which is a mobility technique that makes use of his inexplicably powerful legs. In his current state the power of those legs are many times amplified resulting in a Shukuchi so powerful, it actually looks as though he may have teleported, the only indication of his movement would be the indentures left in the ground from his every foot,----to be seen after the fact that he actually moved.
8 - .
ドラゴンズタッチ
Doragonzutatchi - Dragons Touch. Having built up an immeasuarable amount of Energy, AKuma's Bersker state produces a move of it's own. Funneling large quantities of energy, and Utilizing HIEN, and shaping the truth seeker orbs around each finger to that of a massive clawed hand. Chakra is funneled into the orbs to empower the claws while Hien is used to extend their range and shape the increased range. In combination with his insane speed, the attack delivered would result in nearly decapitating his target, while fataling wounding them, leaving his opponents body mortally wounded across the neck, soulder, chest and abdomen.

“...”
So it's you...
It's been awhile...I didn't think we'd see each other again.
Kaede Yamagata became a manifestation within the psychological mindscape of Akuma Hyuuga - though not literal. By way of careful deduction he was able to develop an understanding using his mind's eye1, and it helped that the monster before him felt all too familiar. Years ago when The Kitakokou known then as the Flame Champion encountered he superseded his ancestors, the bloodlust within his heart transcended time. What was it that day that attracted the ex-Hokage to him? Was it his power, a form of respect? Had Kaede ever respected anything that wasn't power? Only he knew the answer as he stared into the depths of Akuma's soul with his own crimson eyes. Dropping Vartes' mangled body, he brushed his right hand against his charred, bloodstained haori just as Akuuma disappeared with a velocity that escaped even his normal eyes.
A blink later and his thin contacts were dissolved by chakra to reveal his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan2 once more.
Then he truly did manifest.
When he did, while Oni may have found astonishment in his appearance, his younger, malicious self did not.
“Either give up, or I am going to kill you.” he announced calmly, wearing apathy like a mantle of a true lord.
Yet in the world beyond he had already begun to move. Just as Oni crooned and prepared to set his sights—
Rat → Ox → Dog → Horse → Monkey → Boar → Tiger3. The seals came instinctively with every light step he took, and anyone in the nearby vicinity knew to vacate, especially Rin. Without much time to prepare, an intense sea of flames from the funnel of his own lips roared from The Kitakokou rolling out like a veritable tsunami that consumed the swamp and even what was left of Bishanoten's corpse to ash. This wall of fire racing ahead to annihilate anything it consumed was only the beginning that Kaede had to offer, but if he knew the old Oni the way he as his leader believed he did, then even with all the power in the world would this be a short battle.
Without a word needing to be said to Rin only a glance of his eyes to her own was enough to communicate what needed to be done. This was his battle and his alone, as their fearless leader, he needed to subdue the beast he had helped create. Yet even though his mind was focused on the battle, there were far more questions he had than answers. Most wouldn't have had the time to make note of Kiyoko's presence but he certainly did. Since when?
There were far bigger problems, but none that Kaede felt would be the end of their dream.

[Mindscape]
The dark brooding creature that represented the immeasurable within him, now at the drivers seat, had faded. Something or someone far more inviting appeared in it's place. His head rose slightly, as he sat pressed against the wall, head hanging between his knee's and fingers interlaced as if awaiting to accept the consequences or results of his current situation. He wasn't moved, bothered or insulted at the warning from their leader, his mentor. Akuma had accepted that death was equal parts life to those prestigious members of their fraternity, and neither of the core 3 were above Killing the other if it meant the preservation of their cause. His only regret is that he wasn't CONSCIOUSLY indulging in his attributes. Actively and tactically giving Kaede the gift of combat, it had been ages since they had even sparred.
"If it were a matter I was controlling....I would. Us speaking, me, this, it's a safe-guard. It has my body. My power, my arsenal but it's lacking my technique, experience and refinement and skill, my personality. Means of greater control and efficiency. You may just have to do kill me...or weaken me enough to take control, i jump in now, who knows what'll happen..."
[Outside..]
The incoming Tsunami of flames were welcomed. Literally, one could hear an almost bestial chuckle heralded from the Chakra-Cloaked Helm of the berserker. He was immersed in his instinct, unaware of the gifts at his disposal that could neutralize this grand event but considering its sheer prominence, it was fast discovering that where it lacked in technique, brute strength and raw show would suffice. That roaring tidal wave of flame met with an equally ferocious but more importantly "Forceful" push of concussive force and Micro-bursts. intense, gratuitous amounts of the beasts Chakra released in this form sought to send these flames aside in a wedge where back folding upon the caster would fail. Of course snuffing these flames out, at that volume with an inferior element was futile---that was only because the beast needed an opening-not results, barely a passing moment after the elements initial clashing and through the conflict--he'd emerge at insane pace, intent on burying flurry of fists into the solar plexus, abdomen and chest of his challenger. Hardly the pristine and legendary gentle fists in it's touch, but every bit as fast and fluid, back by strength sufficient to make short work of harder materials then human flesh and bone.

The inevitable had arrived.
The rancorous ruler of legendary shinobi stomped on the world of ants as a giant of superfluous belligerence. In the world of their origin? Death, decay, destruction. Known as The Immortal Phoenix of Ash there was naught that escaped his view of despair that filled the world with dread, facilitating a total reset in the name of his true sights: the unification of the world under the throne of fire. No world before his birth had ever known true despair, they only thought as much. Kazuma, Ichi, Kazura, Byakko...the means they employed and those they were willing to slaughter for purpose or not paled in comparison to his own. Nothing that couldn't stop itself from demise was worthy of living, children, frail elders, they all deserved to burn in the vestige of immolation. Long ago Kaede Yamagata forced Rin to see this undeniable truth, and Oni had long since evolved to become a weapon of annihilation.
So then how was it that Oni was forced to snuff a sea of flames consuming him with the force of a tsunami? The power Kaede had allowed to be awakened within him, the power of a world sealed away in the flow of time misunderstood; Tenseigan - the power of Gods. As he slept within the recess of his own mind, allowing his imposter to masquerade, he knew very well that the day was approaching. His power had grown astronomically, and with the stress of his surgery, it was only a matter of time.
Without a doubt, fate played in his favor.
As sublime as he were, there were few solutions that any of them had to put him down.
So as he released his sea of fire, a familiar pressure washed over the swamp around them. One dwarfed only by Oni's own, it was a powerful aura that stretched his muscle fibers and spread his hair into the zephyrs of explosive conflict around them. Growing almost three times in size his meaty veins throbbed with an unnatural intensity, and the Eternal Mangekou Sharingan spun in adjustment just as Oni conquered blaze and descended upon him.
What occurred would frighten the feint of heart. Their movements became so surreal that it was vain for anyone to try and trace them, let alone see either of them. The two collided dozens upon dozens of times, their elbows, knuckles, fists, ankles, heels, and hands meeting hundreds of times over the span of half a minute. Everywhere around Ouza, Rin, and Kiyoko became a complicated box of concussive blows where Kaede multitasked between fighting Oni with enough force to keep him at bay, and keeping him from attacking any of the other three themselves.
Yet when it was all said and done, there was only one thing left to do.
One final clash and Kaede flew back into a series of backflips in the air before slamming on his feet, his knees buckling and his arms curled at his side. Upon his facade was a twisted grin, a satisfaction even as blood drew from his hair down along the left side of his face.
With the eruption of chakra throughout his centers he had dispelled Lucid Dreaming meaning that he had no real means of communication to Oni or his mind. But he knew that he'd hear his words.
“Do or die Oni. This next attack is going to kill you, I promise.” Kaede yelled with satisfaction, his teeth showing in some sadistic grin just before he cocked his right hand back into an overdrawn haymaker. The entire fist in question was smothered in black flames, snarling around in a condensed blanket of control that crackled with minute arcs of black lightning around it. Take control now Oni. Or it's over.
So long.
Kaede disappeared, so to did Oni. Anyone watching knew the outcome would be unfavorable regardless of who won. In actuality, this fight, however strange, could end either way.
So imagine the shock of everyone's faces when both of their attacks landed true, but not to their intended target.
“What?!” Kaede spat in frustration, his fist exploding Vartes' head, and Oni's fist exploding the latter portion of Vartes' entire body.
Yet in that moment, rather than the death of one or the other, Oni finally seized control.
Rather than ask why, Kaede grimaced in confusion and stumbled back a few steps from both Oni and what remained of Vartes' ankles just as the world around them began to tremor. It seemed the death of Vartes after the death of Bishanoten was the key to releasing them from this prison, but why? What was it in his final moments that compelled him to intervene? More questions than answers, he glanced up at Oni who appeared to be regaining his bearings albeit tired and worn as Kaede himself, whom maintained the constant state of energy flow through his chakra centers.
“Saved by the bell, you're luckier than we give you credit for.” Kaede scoffed.

So focused was the beast on dispatching or surviving Kaede, it had little to afford in regards to staving off Akuma's resurgence, which, timed as it was in turn gave him little time to SURVIVE Kaede. It worked out, and judging from his leaders demeanor, He expected Akuma to prevail---this said alot. Not more then a few sparse moments before all of this began, Kaede looked at Akuma as if he had betrayed him, where as now, as it seems there was still more trust and honor there then previously let on.
The Hyuuga felt----tired. His body, ached and strained in places that had never done so before, but surprisingly enough, his eyes, the headaches, the strain----Were all gone. Had he achieved symmetry with it all in that last act of reclaiming dominance? Was loosing control the key to gaining it all in the long run? Akuma chuckled through some heavy breathes while stretching his arms upward and outward --Still white haired, still harnessing a prominent amount of Chakra in this Pre-Full Tensaigan'd state before it dissipated and the Obsidian tresses returned.
"Or.....Or......YOU'RE the lucky one, heh.....Thanks for still having enough confidence in me to know better.." Akuma's hand would come out to embrace that of his leaders, and if all was well re-establish the pillars of a bond, built to be unshakable.

There was warmth, as it cascades down her hands and to her forearms – right before a splattering of crimson peppers her form and stains it crimson. Twice now tonight she has worn the burden of the filth of others, and twice now, her blood has boiled in rage. The once beautiful yukata was little more than shreds, as The white lady moves to stand, pulling it entirely from her body and letting it fall to the side – a pure ribbon cascading into the void as a ruby gaze seeks the Hyuuga beast. No – her companion, daresay, friend. Tool of a tool and yet there was a fondness wrapped in those thoughts. A sickening squealch pulls the bladed war fan free of the carnage that remained of Bishonten as pale fingers grip it in preparation. “I will not tolerate y—” She pauses, gaze narrowing as pressure unfolds around them. It didn’t take a skilled Shinobi to recognize the two pressures that assaulted them, warring with one another to determine who was alpha. In that split second, Rin experiences both glee and trepidation and that cost her only a second of time as the woman turned fully from her would-be enemy to face the Phoenix that came towards them. Unwavering, Rin offers merely a tilt of her head, an acknowledgement of his presence before she blinks from her position – only an afterimage remaining. A flicker of her ghostly complexion pauses next to Ouza, before both disappear once more. While Rin does not discount Ouza’s own talent or qualifications (The woman had been a Kage, afterall), Rin simply knew that they had to move, and quickly. As their images left a shadow where they had once stood, Rin only pauses when they were beyond the horizon of destruction. As feet finally touch down upon land once more, Rin watches as the events unfold before their very eyes. The backlash of two powers sent small whirlwinds along the environment as it began to crumble. Covered in gore and ashes, Rin surveyed the damage that had been done to their home and felt a pang of loss. It settled in the pit of her stomach like lead, heavy and solid – though no words of anguish or tears found their way out of the White Lady’s body. This was not the first home lost, though it had appeared the most hopeful, and it likely would not be the last. It was ridiculous to be beholden to material things, and yet…there was a cumbersome mantle that laid across her – a shroud of sorts that had dampened whatever spirits might have dared to rise. “My lab!” Rin exclaims, before glancing to Ouza. She trusts the woman to take care of herself from here on out, as her form shimmers out of view once more – the wraith colored woman heading for the center of what was left of the village to tend to what was likely the smoldering remains of her sanctuary, and of course, the creatures within.

A merciless, tinkling laugh escaped Kiyoko’s lips as she watched her arrow strike true, going through the demon’s back and out his chest. Once the arrowhead pierced through the demon’s chest, an audible clicking sound could be heard – the mechanism in the arrowhead had popped, and 3 hooks dug into the demon’s chest, acting much like a modified harpoon. Attached to the end of the arrow was a very long, thick rope of web, which was anchored to Kiyoko’s companion Odorigumo.
Her fingers twitched in anticipation, and she felt Odorigumo’s muscles bunch as they made ready to jump, with the demon still attached, to launch into their next attack. She had planned to help subdue the creature so that Oni – who she could feel was prepping something immensely powerful – and Rin could finish the demon off. It was in that moment that Kiyoko felt a familiar presence enter the battlefield. Kaede, who she had yet to say hello to since she had been gone, emerged from the void beyond.
Kiyoko felt his energy swell, and in mere moments, a monstrous tsunami of fire was rushing toward the demon – and her.
‘Tch.
Quickly cutting the web that attached her to the demon, Kiyoko braced herself against the back of Odorigumo as they leapt into the air, jumping far off to the side, well out of range of the tsunami. When Odorigumo landed, it became apparent that Kaede and Oni were fighting.
From atop Odorigumo’s back, she stood with her arms crossed, puzzled as she watched their intricate dance, each moving so quickly that any normal person would not have been able to follow it. She didn’t know or understand why they were fighting, but she had no desire to intervene. She had never seen anyone go toe to toe with Kaede and live to tell the tale. Was Oni really that strong, or was their fearless leader losing his touch?
As it seemed that Kaede was going to end Oni, Kiyoko was equally as shocked as everyone else when it was Vartes’s head that exploded, and not Oni’s.
The world around them tremored and dissipated, as it seemed the curse that sent them here had finally been undone. When it was clear that they had been freed from the hellhole, she had Odorigumo jump again; this time to cover the distance between them and Kaede. She felt Rin leave with the previous Hokage, and she felt a pang of disappointment that she would have to chase her friend down yet again.
“Kaaaaeeeeedddddeeeeee”, she sang as the enormous spider landed a few feet away from him, “Why do you always have to come in and steal the fun, hmmm?”

There was something about bittersweet, confusing endings that didn't taste well.
“Don't thank me, I really was going to kill you.” Kaede scoffed, flicking his bloody hand to his side where his blood mixed with the stirring swamp. “Learn to control your power, or everything we will have worked for be for nothing. You are an important piece to the end.”
As cold as his first statement was, Oni would already be aware of the type of man Kaede was. Even Rin didn't get preferential treatment. Everyone was inherently dispensable, but there was still a thread of human attachment that remained in those whom he could trust with carrying his ideals into the future for years.
Then someone familiar landed next to him and spoke. Kiyoko, something of a rebellious child when he had once met her, she had evolved into something uncontrollable but equally entertaining. When they traversed worlds he was sure that she would die in the land of old, yet here she was, casually speaking to him as if she had never left.
“Heh...” Kaede looked to her for a moment, his gaze bordering on a stare of reflection. Then his cold eyes snapped away back to the sky that began to shake under pressure. “I'll tell you if you promise not to run off again. Don't forget who your life belongs to.”
She would likely have her funny or even introspective retort, but nonetheless their banter came from a place of mutual understanding. In Kaede's understanding, everything in the world did or would one day belong to him, and inevitably in doing so belong to the world of the strong - yet his words were different for Kiyoko.
Then as the world around them began to dissolve like a tasteless smoke of obscurity that defied their world's truths, a more frightening reality would set in.
Rin's minimalistic view of the destruction wrought was likely due to her lack of concern for anything but her laboratory, but the truth was, smoldering remains was putting the perspective of what was left lightly. While they had won the war, at what cost? The greatest shinobi Kitashiobara had to offer had been whisked away by a world of muck and disgust while Kitashiobara was dethroned from it's seat in the sky and reduced to rubble. The villages pillars themselves had collapsed, bodies were strewn everywhere to and from underneath oriental structures covered in both blood and fire, and without carefully discerning the details, it was hard to tell who was was an attacker and who was a villager. In the end, only the strongest survived, mostly comprised of the Gunji Sangin and the Jounin who remained and were able to protect what few could endure the mentally debilitating consequences of their ignorance. Yet even then as they appeared back into the world around them not a single live soul remained.
“A lot better than what was here before...” Kaede grimaced harshly, taking a deep inhale of the fresh blood and heat of the few flames that remained.
Rin ran off to check on her laboratory and The Crimson Phoenix had no desire to stop her. After-all, it wouldn't take all of them to deal with the last of their problems.
A bestial roar echoed from just beyond in the trees of the forest that surrounded them, piercing the skies with it's shriek.
“Someone needs to become the vessel for the Jinchuuriki I brought from our world to exploit here...” Kaede announced, looking at Kiyoko, and then to Oni.
“It's impossible for Akuma to bear a Jinchuuriki with his gift. Death is also highly likely, so I refuse to let you receive it,” Kaede slanted his eyes at Kiyoko, leaving no room for objection. It was as he finished his sentence that two options crossed his mind. They could either transmute it into someone who was barely alive and use them as a slave in the future for the purpose of controlling the power? Or...
“You...retired Hokage of our destroyed world.” Kaede called out to Ouza just beyond, standing not too far from the trio.
“I don't know what your intention is with Oni, or what your overall aim is...but if you truly care for my vassal the way that none have in his life, then I have no choice in this moment but to place my trust in you as well.” Kaede began, stepping forward towards her, breaking from the other two, while the sound of trees falling and snapping drew closer.
“Once before I offered you the choice to become a partner to Hanyusha. That was wrong. At that time I did not realize that we have no partners, we are too strong to ally with the weak, or those who cannot share our vision or truth. In that moment I told myself I would take your life...and the truth is, were it not for what has occurred today and your cooperation I very well would.”
The look on his face was colder than the moon but his eyes hotter than hell. While he never spoke anything less than the truth, his body language would likely convey otherwise, which was never truly his intention, yet it had been long since he truly felt human, and this was the result.
“We are the last of a dying breed. You are familiar with Kiyoko, Oni, and the others of whom you have forged some amount of relationship with. Join Hanyusha. Doing so now in this moment I will grant you a power that has been preserved for only the elite in the past, and I will pardon the past that we have between us. The only thing I ask is that you cooperate and hold with value the man who is my left hand...”
Their time would no doubt be running low, this much Kaede knew. His eyes inclined heavenward to observe the trees that were falling closer and closer to the annihilated village. However, there was one last thing he remembered, something no doubt that Ouza would understand.
“The moment you want to take my life, do it. That is the right reserved to all whom are strong as I...well?”

Upon hearing Kaede’s response, Kiyoko plopped down into a sitting position onto Odorigumo’s back in mock petulance, crossing her legs over one another. The spider clicked his mandibles in protest at the sudden movement. Kiyoko noted that Kaede was not at all surprised to have a gargantuan spider appear before him, despite them being rather rare and the creature being a few feet taller than Kaede himself. Then again, Kiyoko doubted Kaede was surprised at anything anymore. “Ah, don’t pretend to be mad at me Kaede, not when you threw such a big party to celebrate my arrival”, she sang sweetly. A grin crossed her lips as she continued, “besides, I brought you a gift.”
She paused briefly for effect, her chin tilted slightly upward as she looked down at him. “Would you like to know what it is?” she asked in a lowered tone, as a slow, sinister smile crept across her face. She did not wait for his reply.
“It’s an army”, she whispered, as the words dripped from her lips like honeyed venom. Kiyoko’s demeanor had changed entirely since the last time she had seen Kaede. Once, she had been a reserved girl consumed by rage; now, she was wild, with danger glittering in her eyes. The journey had changed her dramatically.
Any reply Kaede had to her little announcement would likely have been cut short by the monstrous roar that echoed off the trees. Kiyoko’s eyebrows lifted slightly in surprise at Kaede’s words; not only did he know what the sound had come from, but he had brought the beast here, because of course he did. Her face quickly contorted into a scowl however, as he promptly followed that up with the fact that he wouldn’t let her have it. While she hadn’t necessarily wanted the beast, being immediately denied anything was annoying.
Out of everything these past couple of hours she had been in the city, out of everything that’s happened, everything that’s been said -- Kaede’s next words shocked her the most.
“You’re giving it to her?!” she said incredulously, gesturing her hand at the ex-Kage. The ex-hokage? Someone that none of them knew deeply or trusted, other than Akuma? She understood that death was likely, but then why not Oni, arguably the strongest, or Rin, who she doubt could even die with all of the experiments the woman had conducted in her lab. If Ouza survived, what would stop her from trying to turn on them - and if they killed her, wouldn’t that be a waste of a Bijuu?
These were the questions that prompted the small outburst, rather than any question of Kaede’s authority or this decision. Rather, it demonstrated that she simply didn’t understand the logic behind it, unless Kaede knew something she didn’t. Which was likely.
Whether or not Kaede cared to notice her response, he continued speaking to Ouza, and Kiyoko stayed silent - studying the woman for any reaction.

Ouza put up no protest against Rin’s grip, in fact she was grateful for it. While she could have saved herself it certainly saved her the need to even do so. She watched the sight passively, while impressive it was hard for her not to question how they got into this in the first place. What was Kaede having these people do? A very slight frown set upon her lips, she did not have a full picture and she knew that Kaede as well as his ‘family’ would not be the ones to ask for it.
For now, she would leave her concerns to herself.
She didn’t seem to react to the potential for the Hyuuga to meet his end at Kaede’s hand. She disapproved of the danger he was putting his subordinate in, and questioning why, exactly he was given such a power in the first place if he could not control it. Her eyes moved from the men to the giant spider and its rider—a girl she … might have remembered? Her head tilted, and silted pupils rounded to return her vision to normal.
Yes, she was familiar. Rin was very upset that Ouza had gotten her hands on her.
Their surroundings fading away pulled from her thoughts, her fair skin paling even further at the sights and heavy metallic tang that celebrated their return. Dark eyes widened in shock, plump lips parting in astonishment. Immediately, she knelt to check on those nearest to herself. These people were civilians! With each she checked without a pulse, the woman felt more sick. Old, young and in-between it was only those that could defend themselves that were spared from the destruction.
Did really none of them care? Weren’t they looking over these people?
Angry, black eyes pulled away from the body at her feet when Kaede called out to her. Her anger was obvious and for once, she wasn’t interested in hiding it. The kneeling woman’s eyes narrowed on him as he made his approach, her hand falling away from the body as she shifted to stand fully. She listened, patiently at the patronizing speech that Kaede offered her.
Pale, petite hands curled into tight fists at her sides and the further he went, the harder it was not to hit him. “You ask for loyalty, when you could not give it to your own people in Konohagakure? This is why you have so few partners, Kaede. You want worshipers, not partners, to grovel at your feet like the god you dream yourself to be.” Her harsh comments came out in a tight hiss, her hands shook but they did not leave her sides as she desperately wanted them to. The surprised reaction from Kiyoko was expected, and honestly she did not blame her.
Ouza was probably the last person he should be giving this to.
Despite this, her clenched hands finally relaxed as her shoulders fell. “It is I who will decide when our past is pardoned, for it is not I who has done anything wrong. I will accept what you are offering, but it will take a lot more than this for me to forgive the destruction and the blood that stains your hands. “ At that, she let out a soft, steady breath and the anger melted from her face. Once more, the passive, disinterested look settled in.
“Lead the way, Kaede.”

He didn't have anything on the head or heart for the sight of the dead. Only an understanding that had he had a greater grasp and understanding on his power, this may have been prevented. Things that were understood, didn't need heavy pondering. He cleared this throat and thumbed across an itch s eyebrow before turning around and facing the direction of this conversation between two people with ALOT of history, and obviously not-so-positive feelings toward one another.
It wasn't as if they were trying to have the conversation quietly, and it wasn't as if it was a history that wasn't known to the audience present albeit most of the minute details, which Akuma himself wasn't privvy to via experience, only in text and scribes and records the group kept. The truth of the matter was that neither one of them, at least to the Hyuuga was perfect. Not more then mere moments from now Kaede questions Akuma's own Loyalty and alliances. ----The Hyuuga found this to be a slap in the face. No matter how EXPENDABLE he may be to their Leader, Akuma has NEVER given him evidence of being a traitor. THAT was where the line must be drawn and it becomes an issue of a man respecting another man, not superior and subordinate.
It could be said that Ouza failed an entire generation of Genin who under the leadership of a Hokage, who was under the thumb of the enemy, was never intended to be anything more then a figurehead marching the entirety of the village to it's doom---which she ultimately did. It was only Akuma's own personal affinity and attraction, and the fact that Kaede---Hanyusha. Has spared him the fate of his fellow Genin an Clansmen, that he was able to oversee that, in favor of the other. At her dialogue's end Akuma would walk past her and through her line of sight to Kaede, turning his head so that those mystical Tenseigan set firmly on the womans own eyes, not missing a stride as he spoke, "Loyalty? You fronted on Konohagakure the entire time.....Hokage. You served the village up to Kiragakure on a silver platter. Numerous individuals died, Genin like myself, former clansmen of mine, died. The most LOYAL people here, more so then you or him, are Me, Rin and Kiyoko. I to you, having brought you here instead of killing you where you stood. Me to him..." and Akuma's glance would settle on his beloved leader, "For remaining firm even when your beliefs in MY Loyalty's wavered. And for whatever reason the other two chose to be here despite whatever."
Akuma's glance rested forward, and his steps carried him toward the direction of the Sacred Beast on approach. He was devoid of the weaponry and equipment he'd normally employ in a situation like this.----A situation he didn't want to be in, now craving solitude. "Once we fell this creature, I wish to be left alone for a while...". Head of the pack, and on the front Line, Akuma waited.

Kiyoko's outburst was warranted.
There was no logical reason why Ouza was worthy of the most powerful sacred beast of any from their realm, and furthermore, it was certainly likely that she would betray them in the future. Had Kaede already taken this into account? It was hard to say, his words were sharp and oftentimes deceitful— many times he had said one thing to twist insidious schemes based on the personalities of those involved. With startling deductive reasoning there were times where one would infer his thinking wasn't so rational, but he almost always usually had things under control. While there were a few nicks in the armor of his psyche that could remove him from who he truly was as a twisted matyr of insanity, it wasn't too often that someone like Ouza was capable, and this wasn't because of her power, but simply because she was too morally correct to truly stir him.
So with everything he said, it was impossible to know exactly what he was thinking.
“Indeed,” Kaede smirked, bathing in his hubris, in response to Kiyoko's question.
“You ask for loyalty, when you could not give it to your own people in Konohagakure? This is why you have so few partners, Kaede. You want worshipers, not partners, to grovel at your feet like the god you dream yourself to be.”
As she spoke, Kaede crossed his arms across his chest and listened as she spoke to matters of the past.
“It is I who will decide when our past is pardoned, for it is not I who has done anything wrong. I will accept what you are offering, but it will take a lot more than this for me to forgive the destruction and the blood that stains your hands.“
Don't! Do not kill her!
Shut the hell up you damn fake.
Kaede!!!
There was a moment of pause where even with a mind as frighteningly fast as Kaede's he carefully decided how to proceed. Were it just about her life and her place in the scheme of things, he would kill her and take his chances placing the bijuu in one of the others alive in the area, whether it be Kiyoko, Rin, or even an innocent whom had survived. But this was more...not just to Akuma, but to Kaede whom was already thinking so far ahead in the future that only Rin could even hope to inquire what exactly it was he was planning. Still, his left crimson eye closed, and when it opened, the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan had taken the place of his fiery eye. Then Akuma stepped forward and spoke.
Still his eye remained trained on his, infact the both did, very still, but his smile never faded.
Everything he said was true to some extent. Under the influence of alcohol, and with fragmented mind he had questioned Akuma's loyalty, however reasonable his suspicion was. Why? For the very reason that was unfolding. Ouza felt as she did and it was that reason that he questioned where the mind of his protege was. Still, the fact remained that Oni remained loyal despite having reasonable suspicion not to be, and this confliction within him was too dangerous to be left untamed. Weighing the consequences of his actions, not in the lives of those around him, but into the future goals and plans of himself, his eye blinked again and the chakra lense slipped back into place, his eye returning to it's usual pigmentation.
“Let's be clear...I don't care about who has died or what you feel I did to your people. Those very people you love so much are dead, along with every village of people from that world you love so much...,” he cackled, speaking lightly to her while walking towards, and then right by her, his arms remaining crossed and his posture remaining lackadaisical. “And the moment you defy the reason that I am allowing you to live, one of us will die, I promise.” he whispered softly, continuing past her to a few meters just behind Oni where he spread his legs slightly wider than shoulder width apart and braced for whatever it was that Oni had in store. While his whisper was soft, he was sure that anyone listening hard enough could hear it.
“WELL ONI! Show us what our exploits have afforded you! Show me the power that can match, and even best, that of a tailed beast!” he roared.

He didn't hear Kaede's call for action, because he was inside of his own mind yet again. [The Mental..]doubt It was quiet in here now. A Dark place and empty. No longer tattered destroyed as it was, Sharp edges had been smoothed but not made pristine. Cold. In intervals one could hear the sound of stale wind sweeping over aged wood. It moaned in protest as the manifested structure he walked in swayed. His footsteps were deliberate but still ebbed on caution. He was confident but edged on doubt. At the end of this lengthy hall was a door, with no specific characteristics that drastically made it stand out from others save for the light that was coming from beneath it and the heat that radiated from it. It pressed against the exposed parts of his skin, his eyes even keened a bit in fear of drying out and small beads of sweat simply lifted away. His hands, firmly touched on the door knob and once tight, spun it, and with a push he was staring the "Beast" within----But it was cowered away, in the corner. Their roles had reversed. To the left of it, was the Power-----The Tenseigan, Also cowering in the far corner of the same room with him now in the center of the two. Akuma spoke firmly, and loud. His voice commanded both of their attention as he required BOTH of their co-operation...no, he demanded their obedience. "Before either of you became anything to me, i've been ME. A shinobi of the highest caliber. In my crafts of unarmed combat, assassination, recon and wet work...I HAVE NO EQUALS in many worlds. Im a child of Hanyusha. I am a Hyuuga, with clandestine blood ties. I will be this forever, with or without you. What's FACT, is that without me, NEITHER of you are anything. Just primordial forces without cause, you [He points right] My curse...a latent string of Dark Chakra and Intent, Satsui No Hadou...and you [He points left] An ancient power only facilitated in those of clandestine origin such as my own and we are FEW and far in between. Together there is no telling what we could do...but apart, it becomes apparent what we AREN'T doing. Heed me. As you were intended to do, let's see what we can BE or become. Let's see OUR limits..."Either entity budged not an inch at first, but they heard his words and understood him well. Slowly, reluctance turned into realization. The closer they both got to him the more tranquil their inner turmoil, fears and apprehensions seemed to be until both of his out stretched hands were touched and unification released an immense shock-wave that would lay waste to this mental mindspace. [On the battle field]... To an observer, at first Akuma found an incredible stillness. A Calm like nothing else anyone has ever seen or witnessed. One would think that he had stopped breathing, that the blood in his body had stopped flowing or that his synapses had all gone cold---right before they would be hit with an absolutely staggering sensation. Like the EMP that surges outward and around, faster then the actual explosion, all before turning around and then suddenly RUSHING back toward him. This was absolutely incredible, the sensation of it all really, if it could be explained it would be akin to the sensation one feels when their on a roller coaster and their stomach is being lifted yonder by the G-Forces in play, the vacuum effect, entrails of energy seemingly apprehended from "Thin Air", rapidly flowing into the still form of the Shinobi at it's epicenter. The nature energy here was in such abundance. Denser. In higher amounts, and with the Tensaigan his control over Chakra was on an entirely different level altogether resulting in a near instantaneous absorption of the nature energy needed to complete the transition into Sage Mode (1)....no....this was something else. His eyes had opened to reveal an absolutely breath taking symmetry of the floral pattern of the Tenseigan and the Frog like irises of Sage Mode, in Lieu of the shaded parts around his eyes, black tribal would stretch to his temples as his hair, as before went white, and the changes to his physicals took place. More important then this however was the formation of the Chakra Cloak (2)around the entirety of his being----and the immense pressure that now radiated in all directions from his body. The pressure moved with force outward, while within him it surged upward, his hair, like some ribbon caught in an updraft while his stance when wide and, his teeth gritted and the paramount presence became outright staggering-----As a Chrakra signature, his aim was to eclipse this Bijuu several times over, to the point where even IT, the mighty Kyuubi would draw a pause from it. That pause----would be it's undoing, if it could be managed, and drawn from his opposition. His next stance however was very well known. To any and all eyes that were surveying this paramount event. Winds whipped and roared around the man, as if he were some god of the storm commanding a hurricanes wrath, as he slipped into a very wide and very low stance, arms spread with his fingers poised specifically in line with the Kata of the gentle fist. Beneath his feet on the very ground he stood on a VERY VERY VERY large pentagram had been revealed, molded and carved out by his Chakra, and he yelled it out into the heavens so that everyone would know, and remember....WHAT brought this beast down, once it came. [Divine Sage Mode!!!!!! GENTLE FIST--- 10,000 palms of the FROG SAGE!!!!"
Once the creature broke through the tree Line and made its appearance---his legs, already coiled--sprung, and he'd have appeared literally At Kyuubi's Nose, BEFORE ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE!!!!! Generally anyone attempting this attack on something as powerful and large as the Kyuubi lacked many things, for example, the sheer size, made striking and reaching the creatutres Tenketsu points difficult in and of itself. Secondly? The sheer FORCE behind the blows would be severely lacking, even for a normal hyuuga, despite the attack being something of finess over force, it still required some to drive contact home, lastly, few if anyone had enough Chakra themselves to force in and close off The tenketsu points of a Bijuu. In the case of Akuuma----He was all but to equipped for this. The tenseigan allowed for the manipulation and absorption of Chakra, Some would say it would grant the user an Infinite Supply, in addition to their own so long as their body can sustain the strain, giving him MORE then enough to facilitate any impeding of the Chakra flow of a tailed Beast. His strikes were like MACHINE GUN FIRE!!! And every single one that landed, Anywhere, would serve to administer a specific action set. Not only was he Sealing off tenketsu points with every strike but he was Absorbing the chakra present there Before hand, and the usage of Frog Kumite---Expanded his impact zone where and when needed, he didn't even have to TOUCH Kyuubi in some instances to imprint his will. 10,000 strikes..in the series that would barely linger on longer then 10 seconds, the likes of which would sound like 10,000 missles colliding into the body of the large beast, which result in not only significant PHYSICAL damage but have the entirety of it's chakra reserves or the ability to even use and facilitate chakra at all---nullified. At it's end...He'd Land, right from where he had lept, on the balls of his feet, kneeled and his hair coming to a fall at his sides and back----his expendature, and his bodies ability to utilize his power any further gone, but hopefully--successful in his attempt. 1 - Sage Mode [Expedited through use of Unknown Accelerated Nature Energy Collection technique]
2 - Full Powered Tenseigan [Chakra Mode]
3 - 10,000 Palms of the Frog Sage - Utilization of Gentle Fist and Frog Kumite in combination with the Tenseigans ability to allow it's user to absorb and control and manipulate chakra. Characteristics of all three allows Akuma to Not Absorb Chakra upon contact (Or without, by using frog kumite) but seal Tenketsu points as well as administering hard force damage as well. This ultimately leaves opposition without the ability to utilize chakra, jutsu, or even move and leaves them drained of their own Chakra, ontop of any physical damage from being struck forcefully so many times. This attack literally administers 10,000 strikes, utilizing the superhuman-Attributes Akuma experiences during this form, and even counter movements during can be adjusted and counted for--allowing it to go un-interrupted.
